If this scoreline stays the same, then West Brom are relegated before we play them.

Do we need a free kick and corner specialist, of course we bloody do. Him and Doucoure in the summer would be perfect. With Poch's fitness regime Shaquiri would be World class.

Swings and roundabouts, it may deflate them, but then again it might give them the freedom to express themselves.

Unless there's something I've forgotten, no possible result of Palace/Stoke would relegate West Brom - although the mathematics are really against them, as they'd be relegated if they lost or even drew against us today, while wins for Southampton or Swansea will also send them down regardless of today's result.

  5. Pieters has committed 4 bookable offences yet Twatkinson hasn't so much as spoken to him <doh>

And as I write Palace equalise....

    So as it stands...
    * A win for Spurs would send West Brom down
    * A win for Swansea or Southampton would send Stoke and West Brom down
    * Wins for Southampton, Swansea, Huddersfield and Leicester would lead to much laughter

I think it's something to do with fixture combinations, as Stoke play Swansea on the final day.

Yep. Bye-bye, Stoke. You won't be missed, especially Charlie ****ing Adam.

    Hodgson deserves some credit.
Palace lost their first six games.
They could have been top 8 with a half decent start.

If that's the goal that sends them down, I can't think of a worse one to concede

Played van Aanholt on for the second Palace goal, too! <laugh>

  15. Rules need to change. Shahqiri rakes the back of Loftus Cheeks leg - a red card offence but only yellow from Twatkinson, but the game continues with Palace down to 10.

The implications of Stoke getting an equaliser at that point are significant for several clubs.
