Which could help Liverpool and Spurs,if we turn up for the rest of the season! i.e. Newcastle 5 Spurs 1. I still can't figure that one out!!!!!!
Twatter is awash with disgruntled Chavs saying what a disgrace it is the Alonso gets a 3 game ban when Ben Davies doesn’t get a retrospective ban - obviously not understanding the difference between an incident being missed by an official and one which was seen and no action taken at the time. Personally, I think they should be grateful that Alonso’s appeal wasn’t deemed as frivolous which to most independent observers it could have been. The stamp on Long was absolutely disgraceful.
The murdering **** shouldn't even have been on the pitch to have made the stamp. Should be being gangraped by a bunch of Spanish jefe's in the prison showers.
I would love to see Edinson Cavani playing for Spurs.Mind you,he would drive me crazy because he can miss the easiest chances yet score the most incredible goals.......and he doesn't hide!
Burnley score for chelsea Lady luck is smiling on them in the last two games ... Alonso escapes a sending off on saturday which would have left them down to 10 men for about an hour and then tonight...
Thanks a bunch Burnley. **** just got real. 2 wins and a draw minimum from our remaining 4 games. Chelsea's next 2 fixtures are tricky (Swansea away then Pool at home) but we have to stop relying on other teams to screw up. It's still firmly in our hands.
Burnley had already lost at home to Utd, Liverpool, Spurs & Arsenal and drawn with City (thanks to some inexplicable Sterling misses) before today. Another loss to a top six side was entirely predictable. They have to be prepared to push forward more in front of their own fans; when the game is more open, the better teams can exploit the space and Burnley's shortcomings can be exposed. They've done very well, but they are lacking if the game is spread against teams with quality players.
Chelsea have 2 home games and 2 away games in their last 4 matches, one of which includes Liverpool (h). We have 3 “home” matches, and only 1 away. Chelsea have a 5 point gap to overturn in that time, and due to their inferior goal difference (-10), that technically makes it 6 points. With one of their home fixtures being Liverpool, that is an extremely tricky task when there’s only 12 points to play for. The games are running out. We’ve just got to stay focussed, and get the job done. Similarly, are we looking at man united who are 6 points ahead of us and have a GD of +4, and thinking “we can still catch them?”. A few weeks ago I thought we may do it, but now I’m certainly not. The position is almost identical to Chelsea’s. Big push to the end now, and as much “RCL support” as possible please you lot! COYS
For it to be a glorious season we need to win a Semi final and a final aswell as 2 wins and a draw in the league
