An awful goalkeeping error gifts United the win, whilst Chelsea somehow conspired to let a 2 goal lead slip to 2-3 before scraping a draw.

I'd conclude with something sarcastic, but all 5 PL sides top their groups at the halfway point. Can't recall the last time that came anywhere close to happening.

Everton having a smashing time in Europe.
They are a footballing club and they have often played decent football over the years and never quite received their due. There have been parallels with us and I think I would prefer them to be in the top 4 rather than a few other teams I can think of.

Just caught up with the Woolwich Wanderers game and from the account on the BBC thought they must have have beaten a Munchenbarcareal all-stars team, judging by the superlatives being slung about, rather than a 2nd level Croatian outfit who I'd never heard of and whose claim to fame is to have lost seven times in their past 11 home games in the Europa League/Uefa Cup!!

They did win to be fair, but how the mighty have fallen <laugh>

Having seen that documentary A Serbian Film, it's probably not a good idea to call a Serb a Croat...
