They have enough players to form their own league
Players like Mason Mount and Ruben Loftus-Cheek are clearly good enough, too.
Chelsea's squad is normally insanely deep, so I get loaning them out, then. Don't get it now, though.

Did Conti take his eye off the ball perhaps.
They probably either expected another signing or two or thought that they were set and now don't.
Chelsea fans pointed out that they looked a bit short when they announced their squad.
Plenty of youngsters still available to them, of course, but that's always a risk.

Not a rival, but just read that Ashley has put the Barcodes up for sale!!

Interesting stat of the day:

Tony Pulis has managed 317 games in the PL, which have produced 316 goals. Killjoy.

The most attackingest side ... in the world. Ever.
Versus Pulis-ball.

Who in the world wants to watch our CL game
when you can have the above ??

During the match they put up a stat of the most goals from set pieces since the day Pulis was appointed. West Brom top on 47, Spurs were second on 44.

Pochettino's attention to detail was one of the first things I noticed about him when he joined Spurs.
I think it's really important. You can still win matches by knowing more about details than the opposition. I suspect that a lot of Wenger's early success was due to being the first user of the player position tracking software.
