Yes, now the reality of their situation is sinking in. They've sold their soul for non-magic beans. Everyone hates the Taxpayers' Arena apart from 'The Dildo Brothers', who will sell up when the restriction on doing so expires. I think it's 10 years? Once they get themselves relegated again, the sale of tickets is going to plummet and having a huge empty stadium is going to make them seem even more ridiculous. They've become Franchise FC. Unfortunately, for them, football's lifeblood is tradition. Supporters drink in the same pubs for decades and don't want to change. They certainly don't want a stadium in the middle of nowhere that's difficult to get to, has a **** view and atmosphere.........and that'd exactly what they've got.
This evening's Standard reads like the West Scam edition of Pravda, with four pages given over to the team where they can claim and deny anything they want without question.
There was one interesting, if slightly perplexing, article though: https://www.standard.co.uk/sport/fo...d-the-pitch-to-help-players-see-a3664061.html I wonder if something similar at Wembley might help our players, where there's a similar issue? No idea why it's being blocked, either. Probably only getting one side of the story.
The fans are a ****ing mile away from the pitch at west ham...need binoculars to see the pitch from the front row!
Any man with a ponytail should be shot. It's perhaps forgivable if it's a phase for a short time, but I think he was born with one.
What a goal...straight after they should have gone 2 up but Hart saved the Hammers...Brighton then get a 2nd straight before HT...whistle blows to a chorus of booing
