Heres hoping for Brunt to swing in a corner and Lescott power header.

I'm about puzzled to why toure has been credited with the first goal, he had a shot to which Silva purposely flicked it (on target) towards goal, so has to be Silva's goal (no dream team bias) ;)

Stop moaning mate as Toure is in my fantasy football team and he absolutely deserves that first goal.

Total dominance from City. West Brom have made it far too comfortable for them but to give them credit, some of the movement and interchanging from City has been very good. Mangala's continued his good form from the end of last season too. The question will be whether they can get results on a consistent basis, when they're on form they're the best side in the league for me but they drop too many silly points when things aren't going their way.

Sterling really should've put them 3 up. Think he could've done without having any chances like that and just having a few quiet games whilst the attention on him dies down but that won't happen now.

I hope we're going to be putting in a bid for Berahino soon because his pace and running is just what we lacked on Saturday.

Once Sterling/Aguero/Silva link up and you have Toure back to his best then they will simply destroy teams this season. Yes they are prone to losing cheap goals and dropping silly points but you can already see that they are going to be scoring for fun.

It must be because they viewed Silva as trying to jump out the way rather then trying to flick the ball towards goal?

I don;t think the issue is their quality on any given day, but their motivation. Most of them have won it twice and don't have an SAF type manager telling them they want to be serial winners. Toure went missing at times last season, Kompany had a few injuries and a few lapses and many of their core players are pushing 30. Sterling gives them some pace, but I'm not convinced they will be consistently good throughout the season. And will the CL be more of a priority?

True. Yaya's usually a staple of my Fantasy Football sides but I decided to leave him out, more fool me. I also left Silva out who is usually another staple so it could've been win/win for me on that first goal. Fortunately I put Sterling in and made him captain, great decision <doh>

Ahwell, at least Bony got me an assist :D

They do have an obsession with trying to improve in the CL but remember Toure was pushed back last season, whereas before he was played as an attacking mid and when he plays as a DM his style of play allows him to be criticised quite easily, as we see a big brute of a man strolling around leaving gaps, push him forward and he is fantastic.

Yeah, it works when they're playing against lesser sides but I just don't see why Pellegrini keeps persisting with such attacking sides against quality opposition in the CL.

Would their chances improve if they changed system/setup? I just feel the top European teams can pick our top teams apart, regardless of system but Klopp is watching, him or Pep to be their next manager?

Well Chelsea have done just that in the past. I just don't think City give themselves the best chance by always trying to outscore their opponents.
