Ayew is great business for Swansea, a player of that calibre on a free could arguably turn out as one of the signings of the season.
Who knew the Gooners were cheating bastards. I think excluding them from the CL is the only fair punishment for this. And then they should give their place to the team that, fairly, finished in 5th. I'll have to look up who will benefit. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/33109008
What is it that they're accused of doing, exactly? It all seems rather vague. That being said, I think it's only fair if he's treated as an ineligible player, they're relegated, stripped of their FA Cup win and publicly flogged. It'll keep others in line or something...
I would guess it's an unregistered agent that got in on the act Unless Arsenal have done a Barca and tried to avoid paying tax then it will be a spanking and a fine
Southampton have decided that they really like our new kit, but that it would look better in a ****ty green colour: please log in to view this image Interesting choice of players to promote it, too.
Definitely a realistic punishment. As I said on the Arsenal board though, Sunderland and Brighton were guilty of the same thing. They basically got a telling off and a paltry fine. If we get anything more than that, it would be farcical. It all seems like a storm in a teacup, though.
So Adel Taarabt departs these shores for Benfica. How can a footballer play crap for years, be a lazy trainer and be 3 stone overweight (according to Redknapp) and then get himself a 5 year contract with a club like Benfica ? Astonishing.
