If you put Wilshere's talent with Ryan Mason's attitude (picking Mason as he's same position/age/etc and he seems to work hard) you'd have a hell of a player.
There is nothing stopping Wilshere becoming that player other than Wilshere himself.
If Arsenal buy Vidal or Schneiderlin then I see no place for him. He is already behind several players and he'd be better off somewhere else. Probably not WHL though.

The Goons are having a little strop, because Twatty Jack's been charged with acting like a drunk chav by the FA.
Not sure why they're bothered. He'll only get a ban or a fine and neither will matter much. He's overpaid and permanently injured.

Any chance that that's because he is a drunken chav?

That’s right. The FA has charged Jack Wilshire for acting like Jack Wilshire--which, to be fair, does bring the game into disrepute.

But I’ve got to say a ban is completely inappropriate here. They should require him to play all ninety minutes of the first three games. Everyone will think twice before letting him get so likkered up next time.

The comment from an arsenal player that hurt was Berkamp...in 2001 he said that arsenal didn't think anything of spurs...they considered us an irrelevance as we were bottom of the table and they were top...it hurt cos it was painfully and obviously true.
I am glad that the goons are proud of finishing above us...its better than being ignored!
Ask west ham ... they are desperate for us to give a ****e about them <laugh>

Ain’t nobody talkin **** bout you, you ain’t nobody.

Watford have replaced their manager, as the rumour-mill suggested they would.
Jokanovic getting them promoted wasn't enough to get him a significant pay rise, so they've brought in Quique Sanchez Flores.

But who will replace him in November, and who will replace that bloke in March?

You know a club's chairman takes manager sacking to ridiculous lengths when Spurs fans can take the piss...

He's rapid even by Italian standards. 5 managers in a year is just silly.

Quite the game. That pivotal Neymar handball decision was interesting. When you compare it to the denial of a penalty to Barca in the first half it makes sense though. Both were clearly accidental - the Juve player's hand was right next to his leg so arguably the hand contact would make little or no difference to where the ball ended up. Whereas the Suarez one clearly affected the flight of the ball and arguably helped the ball end up in the net, so it was right that it was a no-goal.

I'd love Juve to get another goal here and take the game further but there would be no denying that Barca would be thoroughly worthy winners.

Fantastically close fought game, great for Juve to make such a game of it. Who would have thought they'd be there at the start of the season. Gutted for Pirlo to come so close in what will probably be his last club game in Europe, but a fitting send off for Xavi.

Tottenham 2013-14: Sell Bale, sign badly, finish 6th, Bale wins the CL.

Liverpool 2014-15: Sell Suarez, sign badly, finish 6th, Suarez wins the CL.
