I know what you mean, Tigress. I attempted one his books. Talk about 'whoooshed'.I think he will be remembered for his ability to confound the doctors and show what the human spirit is capable of almost as much as his scientific genius. I didn't understand a lot of his science, but was always moved by his determination not to let his illness win.
They will miss him on The Big Bang Theory too. He appeared on there a few times.
