I think he will be remembered for his ability to confound the doctors and show what the human spirit is capable of almost as much as his scientific genius. I didn't understand a lot of his science, but was always moved by his determination not to let his illness win.

They will miss him on The Big Bang Theory too. He appeared on there a few times.

I still say Super, Smashing, Great, why is it always a speed boat. I know that's not Jim Bowen that said the last bit, but a comedian who used to do an impression of him.
Another genius of the comedy variety gone.
 
Gutted about Stephen Hawking. Lived life to the max despite his debilitating illness. He's someone I admired greatly.

He really is an inspiration to those that say 'I can't'
