Proper hero of mine was Mark E even though I was very late to The Fall.

Bought everything plus rarities and managed to see them live 4 times over the last 3 or so years.

RIP

Reactions: Sir Cheshire Ben
Saw them in Wakefield in Oct or Nov, he was in a bad way, performed in a wheelchair.

Obviously knew he was very poorly and not getting better but you just sort of see him as someone who was always in a bad way and that was him. A shock he finally succumbed.

How much do you reckon he supped a day?

I always worked on the assumption that as long as Smudge was alive I was ok to drink as much as I wanted.

I thought he’d live forever.
