3 weeks today. I assume Joe must have gone in for his Op. Anyone know the recovery time on this sort of thing?

I texted Joe over the weekend...asking him how he is and that the guise are asking about him...he replied yesterday afternoon...I’ve just been a bit busy so didn’t get to mention as of yet
He said he’s been busy with his daughter having had to get to the hospital a few times due to severe breathing difficulties but COVID clear. Joe has been to Hull hospital for a pre op check and x rays. He’s hoping to be operated on in 3 weeks
He said tell the guise I’ll be back soon and all the best.
Will drop him a text wishing him all the best from the guise
Texted Joe...got a reply, he says he has been delayed again due to a lung problem caused by his COPD, both lungs constantly half inflated. So they have to delay till the lungs sorted. Says he’s feeling positive and has got strength and purpose to get through this and wished all you ****s all the best
So I texted Joe saying
‘Not606 is asking about you...how you doin bro?’ last week
he replied today
‘not been good mate, bit of a mare really. Having some really bad breathing issues and still no heart op. That’s been cancelled indefinitely but I’d be lucky to survive the op atm. Staying positive, determined to beat this crap. Hope all is good with you bro and really missing that place(Not606)

I remember Joe saying about his breathing originally, but tbph even so, I was hoping he had been in and done by now, coming out the other side of the pain. Thoughts with him.

Thanks for the update mate. Gutted to hear that he’s had his Op cancelled and is struggling though. Hope his determination sees him through. He’s a good egg is Joe, if anyone deserves a break it’s him.
He can’t seem to catch a break, I feel for the dude because he’s devoted his life to his partner and all he wants to do is stay strong and protect his girls, the minimum any man deserves.
