WBA are down - they would need a run of 5 wins in a row from
Manchester United, Liverpool, Newcastle, Spurs, Crystal Palace

Then there comes Stoke, 7 points need to overahul us (huge GA).
West Ham, Burnley, Liverpool, Crystal Palace, Swansea
Very do-able. I think they are probably aiming for 9 points - WHA, CP and US.

Southampton ??
Leicester, Bournemouth, Everton, Swansea, Man City.
Again they seem to be getting up for a fight even if they are not winning, yet.

Again I think they are looking at wins against Leicester, Even and us.

If they get those points they will probably have a better GD which means 4 or 5 points.


Having to play Southampton and Stoke is, in my mind a drawback as they will throw everything at us and are showing an ability to score that's eluding us.



We are next
Man City, Chelsea, Bournemouth, Southampton, Stoke
9 gettable points but unless we can take chances that could be 0 points.
A minimum of 5 points is needed.

We really need to keep players fit.

In my pessimistic mind, I can see us losing the next 4....

In my optimistic mind, I can see us beating Chelsea at Home and drawing at Bournemouth. Then getting 4pts from the last 2 home games.....

I would think even worst case we could achieve 3 more points from our remaining 5 fixtures. This would put us on 36.

Just take a look at huddersfield and brightons remaining fixtures. They could well lose all their remaining games!

Hudds .... everton h, man city a, chelsea a, arsenal h
Brighton..... spurs h, burnley a, man utd h, man city a, liverpool a

West hame dont have it easy either if they lose to stoke.... arsenal a, man city h, leicester a, man utd h, everton h

I think those 3 have as much to worry about as us, southampton and stoke!

The Saints are the only threat to our survival, and while their results are not looking good, their performances have improved over the last few games, if they get a win against Leicester then everything could well change in their favour, we really need TWO outstanding performances to bury any threat from them, and we need it soon..............<ok>

Half full would also look at the four teams above us being ver much in the mix.
Huddersfield in particular have a difficult run in.
 
The problem with Southampton is that I can see them taking 4-7 points from their next three games. IF they do get 7 and IF they beat us that means we need 6 points points before the Southampton game to go into the last game 1point ahead. I know we are in Roger Whittaker territory with those IFs but those 2 points that went astray on Saturday could be vital. Having said that I think we will be ok <cheers>

I still see Huddersfield being relegated.
Everton have a point to prove.
Man City away
Chelsea away
Arsenal home

Brighton too could be clinging on -
Spurs home
Burnley away (could be challenging Arsenal for 6th place)
Man Utd home
Man City away
Liverpool away

Although I'd like to see West Ham relegated I don't think they will so hope the stuff Stoke tonight.

There is only two teams that are in real trouble and that is the saints and us. One of us two will join WBA and Stoke ....We need at least a point in our next two games to help and hope the saints dont win any of theirs...
 
Agree,but,the 2 points dropped against WBA,IMO,will come back to haunt us.
The Club never raised it's game.
We got lucky last season.
Will lightening strike twice?
For me,what I see served up in front of me.....No.

No we need a bit of luck and the saints to continue losing or i think we will go down....A win in our next two games will change things again.....The players must not be goal shy and FFS I dont want to hear that we played well and were the better team and we lost, That dont help at all...
 
Stoke up for this, they are looking good atm......If they win then we could well be in the brown stuff......I dont like West ham but even i'm blowing Bubbles......out of my arse....<laugh>
