I see that the Southampton game has been re-arranged for 8 May @ 19.45 - live on Sky. So we finish the season with 2 home games, Southampton and then 5 days later Stoke on the 13th.....
Those two games could well be crucial to our survival unless we have secured safety before then!!!...........
With Everton, Man City and Chelsea up next after the WBA game then it is imperative we come away with 3 points at WBA....A draw wont be good enough by the look of it....
If we get the results we can and others do the same I've got WBA, Southampton & Stoke going down with us 7 - 9 points clear.
If we get the results which i hope. but confidence is low and we have to play much much better than we have been or we will be points behind not in front....
The outcome of Saturday's match against West Brom will be a huge indicator of where our season will end up ....
“If”, the biggest little word in the English language. If we can win on Saturday, if we can play well, if the other teams around us lose. Never mind if, let’s make it happen. With huge away support at West Brom to cheer the players on, there’s nowhere to hide, no excuses, we must win!
The thought of Cardiff getting promoted and us going the other way, should focus everyone's mind at the Liberty, it would be like the end of the world if that was too happen!!!.........
Come on Cardiff you deserve promotion this season and it dont matter whether you go up in first or second. I just hope we can stay up ourselves which is 60/40 in our favour but lose at WBA and it will be 50/50.....
Very poor preparation by Warnock for a high profile game with Wolves deserving the win.......And throwing your toys out of the perambulator was shocking....
Dai that just sums up Warnock. He is good at getting teams to win games in the Championship and League 1 but his attitude stinks. OK Nuno should have shaken hand when the final whistle went but he had just seen his team give away two penalties in stoppage time so on the final whistle I completely understand why he ran to his team. Warnock was obviously a 'tad upset' that his team couldn't put one of the penalties away but when the guy tried to apologise to him on the field and shake his hand the way he reacted was childish, petulant and just completely bang out of order.
