What definitely needs to stop is them ironing a badge onto a £45 basic Nike hoody and charging £75 for it.

They us the most basic Nike ‘club’ hoodies and charge the price of a premium. That’s not on and is genuinely ‘ripping off’
I guess that's the problem with the existing deal, it's got to be that price to turn a profit

Aye, likely. See who we land with. A proper footy brand I wouldn’t mind, Umbro do lovely ‘proper’ football shirts if you look at West Ham & Burnley they just basic and immaculate.

I’m a big Nike guy so I retain the hope we get an actual Nike deal. Long shot outside the PL like.

Napoli have Emporio Armani kits, the hoodies and training gear must take them in Absolute fortunes.

Aye, fair comment. It is a joke though, they are charging £30 for an iron on badge.

When I started supporting Sunderland people made rattles, painted them R&W and gave them to their kids on Christmas morning ...

... anyone paying £30 for a badge only has themselves to blame imo.

I've never bought a Sunderland shirt and never will ...

... it's not how I measure my support.

The retro umbra kits they released not long back are cracking quality, glad I got a couple

I have bought an absolute heap of the Avec gear with the old badge on, I don’t wear the kits but I like drill tops and track tops. I’ll pay for them cos they are original, ****ing iron on badges man, joke.

I’m blaming the supplier here, not the club. This isn’t a dig at the ownership who have my 100% faith.

I wasn't having a pop at you mate ...

... I just struggle with people whining about 'having to buy a shirt'.

Got the blue ‘Gary Rowell’ one. Absolutely love it.

Had to size down as well which was nice in these days when I’m usually sizing up haha
As I've tried to say on this thread off the field has to improve and quickly.

It's constructive criticism because in a couple of short years are wages will be capped by turnover and new ffp sustainability rules and I want us to be ahead of the others

The only question I have seen not being answered is how could they deny Boro several years ago in the FA Cup a request for extra allocation but agree to the Saudis

It's febrile mate, I've rarely been that angry at the Mags tbh ...

... wars, famine, floods, etc, and people become hysterical because they can't buy a shirt in their size.

Our income is inevitably irrelevant, we'll never compete with UAE countries.

I'd rather go blind ...
I hope like hell we beat the mags. They have immoral ownership, more than the normal number of deluded idiots as fans, media love in, they get on my tits, but I work with class people who are full on mags and if they come and watch us beat them and spend a fortune all the sweeter the email Monday morning. The rules are what they are and we will look like tit ends if we get a draw. Shame for those who can’t sit with mates if that happens but ridiculous that people can’t cope with moving 50m left or right for one game only.
I haven’t bought a shirt for roughly 30 years. Bought my son a few but not for 18 years. They can **** themselves, every shirt in the land is a rip off. I’d rather have experiences with my money.

But of course some people wanted to believe the club had offered no resistance and bent over backwards for the mags. They wanted to believe the club were happy to move SC holders and were weak in negotiations.

Even when the statement was released people aren't happy.

It's like some people have never heard the saying 'The luck of the draw'.

If those little balls had jiggled around one more notch we'd have been playing at SJP then everyone would have to move ...

... or we'd have been going to Eastleigh with an allocation of thirteen and two in the disabled section.

Or at home to Newport when we'd have struggled to get half the SC holders to show up for a fiver.

I couldn't get a ticket for the playoff semi-final at Luton ... boo hoo, that's life.

No one is being moved, it's a completely different event, like a Bruce Springsteen concert ...

... it's not your seat.

Agreed. It's just the cry babies who want to slag the club despite the overwhelming evidence to the contrary
The club get most things right and should be rightly praised for it.
On this occasion they have got it massively wrong, our biggest rivals hated by thousands have had the red carpet rolled out for them. It’s disgraceful, lots of season ticket holders have been shafted, the same people who pay good hard earned money season after season should have a right to their seats before them horrible b######s

They aren’t their seats<ok>

P.S. That ticket protest at kick off was more embarrassing than our performance

Except they haven't. It's startling how many people are blatantly ignoring the FA rules
