Definitely Ralph in, just to spite the entitled ****ers booing at the end. Is it the managers fault btw, that our main striker can’t convert two cast iron chances?
No, but it was his fault that his tactics basically handed Palace an easy lead - and Palace missed their fair share of chances too so could look at it that way too.
No it isnt. But they way we generally play, is Ralphs fault. And the general way we play, for me at least, isnt acceptable. The buck stops with Ralph. Those who want him to stay, lauded him and let him take the accolades when we win, so by the same measure he takes it when we are ****. And Ralph excels in us being ****.
Absolutely - Palace could have been 3 up or so, same as our missed chances. I honestly dont know what would take to happen for people to realise he needs to go. If this was Hughe, Pellegrino, Puel or someone, people would be baying for him to be sacked. Im not saying he is a bad manager either, but he is done with us, it isnt working, hasn’t for ages, and wish him all the best. Im sure he will be great with someone else, but we both need a break from one another. It will be heartbreaking when he does well with another team, but keeping him I think we will go down.
Not against a change, but also very much in the "be careful what you wish for" camp. Any manager will struggle without a goalscorer, and with one Ralph wouldn't actually be struggling. So, yeah. Tricky one.
Don't think it is a minority anymore. Amongst my group of Saints supporting mates, there were 2 of about 15 keeping faith... until today. Those who sit in my area at St Marys have wanted him gone for a little while now too. Most of the forum seem to want him out now, same on SaintsWeb and same on twitter/FB. Not sure what other measure we could look at. Its sad because he has been a good manager for us overall - keeping us up whilst spending so little was a big deal. But it isn't working anymore.
Yep, is sad, i think the majority of us wish him well, but recognise he has to go. But the hindsight of the mods to not allow a new Poll, gives a voice to some people thinking foolishly that it is the minority wanting him gone.
There’s no democracy here mate, nor should there be. Whatever decision the club takes, I hope they won’t be asking the fans, because that would be silly.
Well, if we are stating the obvious! Of course it is irrelevant what we say or think, and the club will make their decision either way. Maybe we should just shut down forums as there is just no point in chatting about this?
I'm leaning back towards Ralph in. He got a reaction in the second half so players haven't downed tools. Ralph can't take the blame for the lack of goals, particularly today when we missed so many chances.
Hope you’re not on the brink of another flounce mate. No need for you to do that tbh, try not to be so emotional.
another flounce. Nope, not al all. Im not even being emotional. But bless you, thanks for trying to be so condescending
I’m still Ralph out. Another game where we don’t turn up. Game should have been over by half time. Everyone could see he got the team selection wring after the first 10 minutes, Don’t turn up against the likes of Wolves, Villa, Everton, Palace. Dreadful 1st half against Leeds, Leicester and Arsenal. To much of a pattern. Second half of last season and now this season. We will lose our next 2 be in the bottom 3 with 12 points from 15 games.
