BBC continuing sellf destruction by getting rid of best local radio presenters and replacing them with the opposite. There again, I guess that is exactly their plan (to self destruct local radio). Idiots.

Alan Raw had his last show on Saturday night, such a shame to lose someone who promoted new local music.

Enjoyed that - telling us what we all knew, ''we're re-jigging the organisation'' always means ''we're cutting jobs to the bone''. The beeb lost out big time.
Ermmm no thanks! Cannot listen to the guy! I used to have radio umberside on all day in my office. I’ve had to turn it off, radio 2 atm. But that’s pissing me off currently.
anyone got any good alternative station suggestions??
I have Radio-X Classic Rock channel on when I'm driving, you get adverts but no banal utterings from a presenter.
