I am pleased to hear that, he is a very underrated player, and one who is very useful to have in the squad.
I dont think he is underrated to be honest, or certainly not by the fans, and I'd suggest most would have him in or very close to the first XI at present. The only people who possibly underrate him are the management.
It looks like he's agreed it, an announcement is expected later today.
I'd agree Quinn would be useful for the non Premiership matches, but what's he going to do with himself for the rest of the season after the Arsenal 3rd round tie?
Agreed, he's over rated if anything.
Agree. I do not rate him highly at all. He is also a complete bellend. Was shouting abuse at the fans at Turf Moor because he couldn't handle them voicing their displeasure (I also saw him do it after that debacle at Barnsley). I think he's paid enough to take some criticism. He's a very unpleasant character.
I'd have been more than happy had he been shipped out. Championship is definitely his level.
The final straw was when he cost us the points at Newcastle. An idiotic blind flicked pass inside which was intercepted (a goal ensued) allowing Newcastle back into the game. Then missed an absolute sitter at 2-1.
Planning for next season already, and an immediate return to the Premiership

And Quinny is a good player, always looking to pick the ball up in space and get forward with it, and an excellent work rate in defence too.
If we're playing 352 he's perfect for the left of the 3 in midfield as he proved in the Championship season linking up really well with Brady and Dudgeon for a while.
He's not quite quick enough for the left of a 442 or technical enough for the middle, but in the right system he's a really useful player.
Bruce cost us the points at Newcastle.
