It looks like he's agreed it, an announcement is expected later today.

I am pleased to hear that, he is a very underrated player, and one who is very useful to have in the squad.

I dont think he is underrated to be honest, or certainly not by the fans, and I'd suggest most would have him in or very close to the first XI at present. The only people who possibly underrate him are the management.

And Carmine. I reckon Quinny must have nicked Carmine's pen at some point cos he is not a fan.

Agreed, he's over rated if anything.

I'd agree Quinn would be useful for the non Premiership matches, but what's he going to do with himself for the rest of the season after the Arsenal 3rd round tie?

He's played in 11 of our 15 Premier League games so far this season.

Agree. I do not rate him highly at all. He is also a complete bellend. Was shouting abuse at the fans at Turf Moor because he couldn't handle them voicing their displeasure (I also saw him do it after that debacle at Barnsley). I think he's paid enough to take some criticism. He's a very unpleasant character.

I'd have been more than happy had he been shipped out. Championship is definitely his level.

The final straw was when he cost us the points at Newcastle. An idiotic blind flicked pass inside which was intercepted (a goal ensued) allowing Newcastle back into the game. Then missed an absolute sitter at 2-1.

I wouldn't go that far, happy to have him around, certainly offers the team something different when playing centrally, he's just not got that 'something special' to make him a real player at this level I don't think. Bit of a jack of all trades.

Depending on how we're lined up and who's on the pitch I'd say he's our best option to bring on to help protect a lead/result. Defends from the front, works tirelessly, wins the ball back well and really helps us to keep hold of possession.

He's alright, he's a handy player, probably not a guaranteed starter at any other PL club but if we went down he's certainly the type of player you want in your squad. I'm happy for him to feature in the match day squad, but for us to progess as a club we need some proper PL quality bringing in. The 'old guard' are alright in a pinch, but your regular PL starters need to be of the highest quality, which hopefully will prove to be true over the coming months.

And Quinny is a good player, always looking to pick the ball up in space and get forward with it, and an excellent work rate in defence too.

If we're playing 352 he's perfect for the left of the 3 in midfield as he proved in the Championship season linking up really well with Brady and Dudgeon for a while.

He's not quite quick enough for the left of a 442 or technical enough for the middle, but in the right system he's a really useful player.

Quinn is the best we have in the middle. The only one i think 'might' be better is Gaston, but i doubt we'll ever know that now.
