Talking to fellow Rs before kick off yesterday it was widely agreed that Ollie put out the best team we had available and apart from Smyth for Washington, I THINK I am right in saying that it was the same side that won against Bolton. That being the case surely MOST of the blame must be with the players? In the tweet he said that we had practiced successfully on Friday and failed to take those lessons on to the pitch yesterday., How can that be Ollies fault? As for people bemoaning the fact that Ollie shouldn't blame the players publicly (it was rather hinted at than direct IMO), why shouldn't he? All of us that were there yesterday know we were crap. Why should the manager hide the fact? As you know I was all in favour of Ollie becoming manager. My views have changed and think he will go at the end of a very poor season, however he cannot be blamed for everything. A little balance is required. Nuff said.
