I highly expect the CM to be Bird. A striker would be great but it’d be bottom of my priority list - Delap has been excellent and Connolly and Tufan have scored goals from that position when they’ve been given more game time. I think with 3/4 fit wingers we can regularly rotate that would give us much greater attacking power.

I think that would be too much and would upset the dressing room. Winger for definite though. I personally think Ingram is a good keeper at this level but when we saw what we could have had with Darlow, I guess it makes you want the best. Don’t think it’s essential though.

I am worried Seri’s legs have gone. He’s just not the player he was last season.

I don’t think we need a striker. We just need to give our attacking players the ball more often rather than letting the defenders have most of it. :emoticon-0100-smile

There’s definitely a player in Connolly. I just want to see him on the pitch with Delap more often. Even if that means playing him on the wing while Philogene is out!

From what I've read on here Ingram must have improved since he was, very very briefly, first choice keeper for us under Steve McLaren. There was massive sigh of relief when he was sold. Mind you McLaren lasted just about as long. Have to say I do get a bit fed up with the negativity on the QPR Forum but see you have the same. Based on yesterday's performance against us, surely it's not as bad as that?

We seem to sign our fair share! <laugh>

Seriously, though - I don't think Sinik has a serious injury. Rosie doesn't fancy him and I suspect it is a convenient injury

When we win we’re going to finish in the top six, when we lose we’re going to finish in the bottom half, ‘twas always thus.

It's another case of a player improving while he is out of the team

Hard as it may be in January any signings needs to be permanent really. The Brentford comparison for now is a good one and I suspect it may be we have to sell key assets and replace cheaper in order to progress similar how they did with Benramha, Maupay and Watkins.

Issue is 2 of our biggest contributors are pretty much dead certain not to be here next year and the wolves will circle for Philogene and Greaves. Granted for the last 2 the money can be reinvested but we are still very much a squad feeling the effects of the first summer window under Acun. Good pieces but very little depth and that needs fixing

We’d have to pay a tribunal fee anyway as he’s under 25. The fees wouldn’t be too far off I would bet

There's what we would like, what we need and what we can afford with FFP. Outgoing transfers would help.

Sounds like the virus that afflicts all football fans. Mind you there's worse. It's the galactico syndrome where the managers, step forward Pep G as the classic example, and the fans as well,. can never lose without playing the victim . Life must be so hard when your owners give you billions to spend and break every FFP rule in the book with impunity in the process and you can't understand why an exception should not be made in your case.

Some very poor performances yesterday particularly Coyle, Christie, Seri & Traore.
Phiolgene (hopefully not too serious ) replaced by Slater interesting when 1-0 down.
Seems to be lots of square pegs in round holes.

I thought Christie did well yesterday. Build up play apart from him was painfully slow and is easy to defend against. Defensively we were bab especially in the first half and coyle had his worst game of the season. Alsop is costing us a goal a game at the moment, but i agree that he won't be dropped as ingram hasn't a clue with the ball at his feet. All in all a very average performance which hopefully will soon be forgotten

Just watching Spurs and the Geordies , Son just showing how to get to the byline and square it for a goal - Jaden can do this ! That Udogie for Spurs is very very good .
Can we get Joelinton ( not Linton Brown !)

When we first saw him he looked exciting but a bit raw, then he got injured, seemed to lose a bit of pace but never really kicked on afterwards. At least that's how I remember it.
