Seemed pretty consistent for Fulham when two years younger.

Yeah, but he was playing in a very good, pretty established team.

He’s only played a handful of games for us, I’m not comparing his Fulham stint to his time with us. He’s a great player, we just need to make sure he has the opportunity to play the way he did that got him the move to Liverpool.

Agree completely, very exciting player. But currently if anyone’s making way out the starting 11 he’s probably top of the list.

Yeah he's very good, just pointing out he's played two poor games in a row, not one, and if we're looking for a player to drop out for a striker, he'd be top of the list.

Unfair to single out Carvahlo. He actually had/made a couple of reasonable half chances. But more to the point, they've pretty much all been ****e and 'missing' for 2 games now (bar the first 20 mins v Millwall).
At least it 's a change from the ridiculous comments about Ohio after his 10min cameo

I think pretty fair, particularly as he's the one who's started the most games out of that forward group so has less 'settling in' excuses than the rest.

OK, your view. Zaroury and Philogene were poorer imo. Zaroury anonymous and Philogene just awful.
edit: not saying for one minute Carvalho was good; he wasn't.

Again, Carvalho has played more consecutive games than either of those two players. Philogene was in his second game back from a two month lay off and Zaroury in his second start in a fair while.

Agree that it should be Carvalho dropped out of the forward players. He is clearly a good technical player but needs to know he isn’t going to start every game if he is not producing. Also, if he plays with a bit of anger when coming on, we will likely see why we’ve signed him.

On a separate note, I wouldn’t say no to Doc starting. It will no doubt be a battle at times tonight and we can’t afford to let them bully us. Also, would be nice to see Connolly for this reason also. UTT.

To be fair he's been sat on his arse most of the season. What do they say 7 games to get to full match sharpness?

I'm not overly concerned if sat was a 1 off, but the new flair incomings have to know that they're not going to be able to stroll around and play how they want and and still get in the team.

Why do people say things like this as if LR just plays people because he signs them?

Carvalho’s a cracking player, off one bad appearance he doesn’t need dropping so why would Rosie do that? Rosie signed Lokilo, he’s already gone, so it’s not as though he favours players he has signed.

I reckon Slater will drop out and Omur will come in, it’s a good game for him to get to grips with a physical Championship side.

I think that's very unlikely indeed.

7 games you say, I'll add that to the missed pre season, getting up to speed with the philosophy, getting up to full fitness, eating cake and biscuits to bulk up a bit all before we loan him out to some league 2 club.

On coming back from a goal down? 4th best or something aren't we? Which is fine, but scoring first we're just about unbeatable

I meant when we score first since you've mentioned it a few times. Think we're 6th best or something. After the win tonight we're second best for comebacks from a goal down. Doesn't overly matter either way as long as we get the 3 points.
