Did... did I genuinely just read someone say that we'd be doing as well if not better with McCann in charge? The same McCann currently at 20th place in League Two Doncaster? And whose win record at this level is 28%? Or Adkins, who is currently also in League Two, just two places higher?

****ing hell, the **** that comes out on here after we lose a game. Christ almighty.

I am certainly not Rosenior greatest fan but he's a damn sight better than McCann or Adkins

The FACT is we will never know. McCann and Adkins unfortunately didn't have anything like the resources and backing Rosenior has been given. They got the polar opposite.
I would have liked to have seen what Adkins could have built with proper backing. And a genuinely decent bloke.

It's an old term, John Moore was a perfect example of a false number nine. :emoticon-0143-smirk

Both are title winning managers too
And Terry certainly did better in league 1 with us than rosenior did with derby

I think we do know about McCann.

Whilst he had a poor squad, he had enough to make sure we didn’t get relegated after we sold Bowen and Grosicki considering the points we had on the board.

For everyone moaning that Rosenior doesn’t change things enough, McCann changed even less that season and his belligerence took us down.

We also were awful the season we came back up to start with. But I’ll give him credit that we turned a corner towards Christmas

Our form has tailed off since start of December - Seri played in 7 of those games and we won 3, lost 4. Since he went, we've won 2 and lost 3. I agree he might be more important than I personally had thought but let's not delude ourselves that form has dropped off massively since he was away.

Does McCann have the most ambitious owner outside the top league?

Rosenior never winning three games on the bounce at City is quite telling. Inconsistency in performances and results is the most noticeable thing during his tenure here as manager. With the players he has at his disposal, it really isn’t good enough.

So was Tom Eaves, but I’d say he was more of a false striker in general!

Rosie was only at Derby for 12 games, but if he’d continued the same points tally for the rest of the season, he’d have got eight points more than McCann got when we won the league.

Nobody would say such a thing on here I was reliably informed with much ridicule last time the board started collectively pissing itself.

Only McCann had a promotion budget in the league he was in.

Let's remember a certain group of people who are dead set against any sort of Criticism of LR or how we are doing are the same people who absolutely slated grant and wanted him out when we were TOP of league one and playing fantastic attractive high scoring football.......

After the ipswich game when we certainly weren't top and it looked like he was bottling it.

Besides, he'd got us relegated in the first place, that L1 season shouldn't have been necessary.

Nobody's dead set against reasonable criticism. What's been slung at Rosenior previously despite 15 months of steady progress hasn't been reasonable.

Let's not pretend it was after one game FFS! It was relentless all season.
