I recorded the game last night and have just stuck it on.
@deedub93 is right. it’s also like 11 Simon Cowells. <doh>

Didn’t realise we’d signed anyone yet, either!
Looking forward to seeing “Serge Son” come off the bench <doh>

Tbf I'm going to be like that this year

Looking forward to seeing Moussa Savic in the midfield this season would have been quite happy to have seen Victor Seri sign for us too.

For anyone who hasn't watched it yet but still plans to, I have one word for you: Gazinga.

Decent start to the season, although never good to read too much into these games.

Lucas looked excellent and Nando should take something from his goals. Amos also did well. There were however some very ‘meh’ performances as well - and the playing out from the back again got us into trouble.

Great to see Eriksen and Big Dave rushing back to get involved - hope the commitment doesn’t come back to bite later in the season when the benefits of summer rest might come to the fore.

Oh - and I’m actually warming to the new kit. Not the feckin’ red AIA, but the general kit design. :emoticon-0148-yes:

I am.

I want to see signs that the SQUAD has a whole could potentially
front up in the PL for all of August without 10 of the WC Spurs
playing.

So far it seems that Lamela and Moura are ready to go, but that
defence could not be fielded. Onwards to the next two steps of the
experiment.

Watched the first half then skimmed through the second.

Lucas was excellent. Once his fitness is finally up to an acceptable level we’ll be seeing one heck of a player this coming season.

Good on Nando as well to grab some goals. May add £500k to his asking price.

Amos looked decent.

Great save by sexy Gazza in the second half.

Suggestions from America that Big Vic's got a recurrence of his knee problems. No indication of the severity as yet. **** our luck. We've had a lot of long-term absences in the last couple of seasons.

He’s still being considered for the weekend, so hopefully a minor issue....... (yes, I know...... :emoticon-0107-sweat )

TheSpursWeb aren't exactly complimentary about Edwards' display last night...

The best way to describe how Edwards played tonight, was little too flash for his own good. As one of the more senior members of the side tonight, you’d have thought Edwards would have stepped up in a big way. On the positive side, his darting runs and cute flicks earned himself two penalties which he converted with ease.

On the negative side, you can obviously see why he rubs Pochettino up the wrong, his attitude is that of a player that thinks he’s too good for the level he is playing at. I don’t think in the whole 90 mins he came back and helped his right back once. Yes, he probably was the star man for Spurs tonight as when he got on the ball he looked a constant threat but without it, he looked lethargic and like he really didn’t want to be there.

Sounds like another Andros Townsend.
