We are due a defeat imo. Hope we are wrong, but it’s coming.
Not having a dig, but what makes us "due one"?
Just because we haven't had one for a while, doesnt mean we are due one.....we have become a team that are hard to beat.

Edit. Just checked, Blackpool havent lost in 11, maybe they are due a defeat as well.....

i think what people are failing to take into account is that Charlton are just out of the play off picture, which will suit us great as they will come out after us, leaving themselves open instead of parking the bus, whilst the last game i thought we would walk it ,Wolfy had us down for a draw, looking backwards into his predictions he is pretty good , I then went on the the prediction league and instantly saw why i don't do it and a loads of us are shiyte at it...<laugh><laugh><laugh> So i will round this off by saying start getting us down for the win you twatt instead of being mr sensible:emoticon-0172-mooni:emoticon-0175-drunk:emoticon-0131-angel

McFadzean was excellent for a month, then poor yesterday, I don’t agree with everyone gunning for him again. Yes he’s been poor overall since he signed but I personally am gonna roll with him he’s had one bad game after 4-5 good ones

mc faz started off the first three poorly, he then played better with a few mistakes added in until last weeks howler. I look at it this way will he be any better than a squad player if we go up, in the last few games left could he make a howler again that could lose us the match , More than probably, is hume a better allround player with more strings to his bow, do you agree we should play our better players first, and use the stand ins as and when necessary from reserve, preferably when winning.i like many other supporters am desperate for the lads to go up, I see people getting on a few supporters backs lately, yet some who pull them up do the very same thing, in the prediction league, and the pre match vote.We all get things wrong if you don't agree scroll down, i don't agree with a lot of views, but i always give a like for people standing their ground, and in most cases respect them for doing so. it's getting late and wanted to comment before bed have a great day lads, ive took my soap box back and worn my flack vest back to front, just in case;)

I think all of the top 3 will drop points over the last month or so. Peterborough seem to have the easier run in but they aren’t amazing away from home regardless of the opposition so that could be huge. Hull have some difficult games too.

Peterborough last 4 games could well be their undoing...Doncaster x 2 , Charlton and Lincoln.

Since Johnson took charge we've narrowly lost two games.

Football doesn't follow the law of averages otherwise Arsenal would never have become 'The Invincibles'.

Having gone behind, in two difficult games, the team has shown they won't lie down and accept defeat.

On that basis we're due another win.

If we get past the Hull game, without any significant change in our current position, I think we're up. Three of the last four games are at home and the away game is at Plymouth who's season is already over. I'm sure KLD will fly the squad down there which will make them feel they're on a real mission.

We've shown we have the nerve to overcome setbacks and, whatever happens, I think we have more of what's needed ... much more than all of the teams around us who've lost twice as many games.

10/04 Sunderland v Charlton
13/04 Wigan v Sunderland
17/04 Blackpool v Sunderland
20/04 Hull v Sunderland
24/04 Sunderland v Accrington
27/04 Sunderland v Blackpool
01/05 Plymouth v Sunderland
08/05 Sunderland v Northampton

Sort of agree. Next 4 are huge. I mean they all are. However, I do feel like we have become stronger at home in recent months and can break teams down which was the issue initially.

That said, this Charlton game is one of the toughest for me. New manager has done amazingly well for them, they have had good rest and have a great record of late.

3 away games within 7 days is as tough as it comes in terms of player mental fatigue and travel. Fixture computer has not been kind here. Very rare to see it.

I'm choosing to believe Charlton's 'rest' will have taken something away from their momentum. I also hope they have to travel up on a coach, every little helps.

The gap, between Peterborough and Saturday, looks good for us in my opinion ...

... time for proper coaching/rest/repairs but soon enough to focus their minds.

All guesswork, of course, but it keeps me from going nuts!

The fewer games we have left the greater the pressure..

The draw at Pish kept us in the hunt... every game from now in for Pish, Hull and us...are important...

Watching the players on Saturday they looked happy and well up for it...they just need to focus for 90 + minutes, make good runs and passes and track (runners) back..and we will prevail I believe.

Agree Prefab but at least the three visits in one week could be classed as derbies,at a stretch, it's not as if we're travelling to the deep South for these fixtures but take your point.

Blackpool and Hull back to back is a big ask.

Still, the best teams relish the big games. Bring it on and let's get the **** out of this division

Didn’t realise that we had those three away games on the spin.
That will be tough but I think we can and will come through that.
I’d leave 09 and Sanderson in place for the Charlton game at least. I’m nervous about putting Wright back in without him having some games first and don’t see where we fit it in enough meaningful behind closed doors games for him given the schedule.
We need to get Wyke back amongst the goals as well.
I’d also try and get Maguire back on the bench for the run in.
