Well done Mush and Cest, we now agree that football teams need goalscorers, with a couple of finishers up front IMHO we would certainly be higher up the league.

So I personally give my thanks to MoN, for saving us this season. That does not mean I think he is wise in playing O'Shea at RB, or that Cattermole s a good player or that Elmo should even be in the squad. As I have a Villa fan as a mate I am also looking to see if he really does not change a team much at all or he only likes to buy British etc.

I do look forward to next season with a couple of new strikers!

Aye, we're only goals short of a good side, and a creative midfielder, proper left back and all round CB short of a very, very good side.

One thing that has concerned me is the apparent lack of character in a few of the players I felt were good enough in the last few weeks, but i'm sure MON will sort that.

Our squad is top 10, we're gonna just miss it, but with a 15 goal striker alone we'd be top 8.

No drama, just a bit of garnish required.

So what if it had been a Brown/O'Shea c/b pairing for the season, without them being crocked?

Glad things have calmed down. Was a bit tense at times there.

I think that would be perfect mate, massive IF though.

I know the defensive record stands up, but we've often come under the cosh a bit to maintain it, that drags men deep from midfield, and is another contributing factor to less goals.

O'Shea is dominant on form, and Wes can use the ball well for a CB, i'd suggest that the back up isn't there tho.

Turner can only defend, and has a chronic lack of pace and shocking distribution, Kilgallon has shown a bit of ability, and would be 3rd in line for me.

With Titus likely off, we need at least one more, IMO.

Just passionate mate and not a slanging match. Without passion we may as well pack up and go home. I love that passion and love others that possess it too.

Now imagine if others could get involved, with their opinions, what a board we'd have......
