Global warming? No such thing according to some.
Tomorrow's forecast where I am, (Costa Blanca) in February. I haven’t needed any heating for the last 4-5 days. Crazy weather.

There’s a reservoir in Catalonia where the spire of an old church used to be seen above the water. Levels are so low now you can see the entire building.

Or in The Lebanon, Yemen, Iran, anywhere else in the middle East in fact just about anywhere. In a few short years gone from a position of influence and respect to an irrelevant sidelined bit player.

Well yeah, pretty much. But the sight of our MPs using a humanitarian disaster to score points off each other, is especially distasteful

The decision was made for the safety of MPs and their families.

What does that say about the intimidatory mob?
What does that say about British democracy?

So to sum up.

Hoyle’s probably done, having broken convention (although I am sympathetic to what I believe he was trying to do which was to try and stop an extremely serious and emotional topic becoming a political football).

Labour are either coming out of this looking somewhat better or much much worse depending on whether the rumour about them threatening Hoyle is true or not.

The SNP got the spirit of their motion passed, but are apoplectic. Which makes it look more like they were weaponising the issue than genuinely being concerned for the welfare of Palestinians.

Don't get me started on the absolute audacity and hypocrisy of the Conservative Party to complain about defying convention.

And while it’s a topic that is important to take extremely seriously, it is also an opposition day motion that has no legal weight and makes absolutely no difference to the Gaza conflict.

Just highlights once again that our creaking outdated ‘democracy’ is falling apart and needs to be rebuilt and codified. Of course that won’t happen as it doesn’t suit the big twos desire for unfettered power.

For those that pretend that the woke agenda isn’t real..

have a look at Google’s new racist anti-white AI. And if you think the AI is bad, Google search censorship is 100x worse.

Yes, yes, we should all be concerned about the woke robots. Not the fact that these sorts of "AI" (which is really just chatbots tethered to a large language model) are just trash and always have been, like the time Microsoft's "AI" got turned into a neo-Nazi in less than a day:

You’re ignoring the wider issue that these corporations are deliberately censoring and spreading horrendous propaganda.

Almost everyone on the face of the earth consumes their information from Google,
either directly or indirectly.

News, history, science. You name it.

Google has more control over our election outcomes and our historical records than probably any single entity in history.

The wokeness and the anti-Whiteness is *literally* built into their entire algorithm.

I've seen what you think is news, so I ask with some trepidation: what do you consider 'horrendous propaganda'?

It literally will not create an image of a Caucasian male. Search for Viking’s, founding fathers, anything and it will not generate a white person. It refuses to show white people or achievements by white people, whilst celebrating other races.

It’s racist, basically.

And the problem that you’re ignoring is that this isn’t just some mistake. This isn’t an anomaly. It’s a deliberate agenda caused by their corporate woke culture. This is what their bureaucracy and policies lead to.

Ah. No, there is no corporate woke agenda to erase white people. That is really silly. Good god please find new sources of information, it's legitimately horrifying to watch you get radicalized in real time.

Google is the radicalised one, not me.

How do you not see a problem with this? If it was racist against black people you would be the first to whine on here. But because it’s blatantly discriminating against white people somehow I’m radicalised. lol.

My dude, again, this is not a problem with the global woke agenda. Google *did* have an AI facial recognition program that gave suuuuuuuper racist results...namely, it identified all Black people as gorillas. They couldn't convince it otherwise, so they had to just eliminate gorillas as an option:

https://www.theverge.com/2018/1/12/16882408/google-racist-gorillas-photo-recognition-algorithm-ai

That wasn't the result of Google having a global neo-Nazi agenda, though. It was the result of AI models being just trash in general, capable of producing neat little novelties from time to time but mostly just producing dreck at best, offensive stupidity at worst.

The war against woke, the usurping of the term that used to mean engaging in civil rights, social justice, diversity and inclusivity to become to focus of a right wing crusade, a modern-day mixture of McCarthyism and white grievance.
This from 'right on' Ron de Santis. “We must fight ‘the woke’ in our schools. We must fight ‘the woke’ in our businesses. We must fight ‘the woke’ in government agencies,” “We can never, ever surrender to woke ideology. And I’ll tell you this, Florida (Eastbourne) is where woke goes to die.”
