i do find the wording on the tweet disturbing, the writer is basically saying that as he does not agree with what these protesters are saying, they should not be allowed to express what they believe, im guessing he is angry that the police are not arresting them. I know that Britain does not have a protected free speech, but its a slippery slope when trying to stop people protesting
100% what? The first spikes there are in 2014 before a referendum was even on the cards. The biggest spike is in June. Jo Cox was murdered in June so could that spike be people searching "Britain First" because they head it on the news because of the murder?
Explain what 100% actually means and how those spikes directly lead to Brexit influence when the spikes start before Brexit was even a thing and the only peak coincides with a well publicised murder by someone shouting "Britain First"
Most people that voted for brexit can’t work out how to use the Internet.

A lot of disillusioned people voted to come out of a trade agreement, and there's nothing wrong with that. But I expect a lot of them have since changed their mind, because of the incompetent incumbents running the country.

I would rarely say this, but you're simply wrong. Had this money "stayed in the UK" there is substantial evidence that it would not have been spent improving Liverpool, Rochdale, Huddersfield etc etc. After all no UK government had ever invested before. If it took the EU to re-direct "our money" to areas of deprivation then that is a huge tick in my book.

It's odd. I pay tax. I suspect more of it goes to places like the North, Scotland, Ireland, Wales and Cornwall than comes back into the area in which I live. I'm fortunate enough to live in Southampton, which has a strong economy, low unemployment and no need of support. Plenty of people on here must do the same or similar. It's the cost of living in a civilised country. And in return, I get to live in a decent, stable country without poverty-driven riots.
Yet the moment it is spread across Europe, people suddenly come over all shirty about not getting back every penny they spend. Weird.
And they also seem keen to overestimate (sometimes quite grossly) how much we pay to Europe. Out of £100 in tax, 37p ends up with the EU. So, if you pay £200 tax, you're contributing to the EU the cost of a single copy of the Daily Mail.

what do you mean, before it was on the cards? Cameron had already promised a referendum in 2014 and used it in his campaign to get elected in 2015
At that point it was assumed that he was offering something he had no chance of delivering because until GE night it was forecast to be a hung parliament. Remember Paddy Ashdown offering to eat his hat when the exit poll came out? An exit poll that ended up underestimating the majority to boot!
If the result had been as expected would the Tories even be in a coalition? or would it have been a Labour/LibDem or Labour/SNP coalition?
No-one foresaw the Tories actually having to deliver on that referendum promise.

Vladimir Putin tells us to make sure Brexit goes ahead. A good rule of thumb here might be "If I find myself agreeing with an evil tyrannical despot who murders his opponents and spends heavily to weaken his enemies, maybe I should consider my position".

In truth probably not..............Although we can never say it wouldn't have for certain.........but I do agree. The point I was making though it still was our money...........Not all of what the EU did was bad........I have said that before.......
Just as a matter of interest guys..........If the Labour Party were in power after the last election........How do you see labour handling the Brexit negotiations?.......Better than May? Or would he have just ignored the vote?
Corbyn is a leaver Beddy, I thought everyone knew that. Nobody can know for sure, but going by what has been said by Labour people inside and outside Parliament, they wouldn’t have painted themselves into a corner like May has with restrictive red lines about the Customs Union. We would have a permanent Customs Union with the EU which would give us frictionless trade with the EU Single Market, but still leave us free to negotiate deals with other countries.
We would definitely not be in the mess we are in now.
Really Chilcs.......Corbyn was a leaver?.......I didn't know that. The Labour Party as whole were against Brexit surely?
Split about 60:40 in Parliament between remainers and leavers I believe. But Corbyn, like a lot of the Labour left, has always been anti-EU, just like Tony Benn was.
I doubt the proportion of Labour MPs in parliament is anywhere near 40%. Probably closer to 10.
Corbyn campaigned, in an admittedly lukewarm fashion, for Remain before the referendum.
