The whole concept of presidential pardons is wrong. Any miscarriages of justice should corrected by an independent impartial judiciary which is lacking in the US where judges are political appointments. Those that have committed crime should do the time, Trump is a convicted felon and fraudster, Biden Jnr should answer his charges. I'm sure that no stone has been left unturned in the search for incriminating evidence for Biden and his family to face.
Careful Os, calling someone brainwashed, especially someone like Tom who is hardly a leftist, is almost indistinguishable from an insult. Rein it in please.
I did not mean it as an insult.
On the contrary I find it extremely important to point out to people when they have been brainwashed by propaganda, as it is very difficult to wake up from on your own.

I don’t agree with it at all, but I can understand why an elderly man, who lost his first wife and daughter in a car crash, and his son to brain cancer, might take the opportunity to save his remaining son.
It’s not “right”, but you’d be devoid of empathy if you couldn’t see why he might do that if it’s in his powers.

(You can also see why it might push a remaining child into drugs and an unhealthy way of life if you have any synapses left that aren’t poisoned by making everything about politics).
The problem isn’t that he’s done it.
It’s that he SPECIFICALLY said MULTIPLE times that he CATEGORICALLY wouldn’t do this.
His whole campaign was based on honesty and supposedly being less corrupt than Trump.
To be fair Biden pardoning his son will damage his legacy and it is obviously an abuse of privilege. One that Presidents have abused before and Trump criticising Biden for something like this is brass neckery, but it is an abuse none the less.
I can however understand the reasons why he might want to protect him given that his safety would probably have been in question, but it doesn’t mean it’s right either, it will be a black mark on Biden’s record but probably one he is more than happy to take and I can’t imagine he will ever regret it.

Why are you guys so willing to overlook the Biden crime family, while at the same time showing so much disgust and hurling insults at Trump?

Not true. I wasn’t the one who started the insults. It started with jabbo and loading etc calling me a conspiraloon and a mentalist when I said Biden was a worse option than Trump when he was elected.
Literally everything that’s happened since then has proven me correct. I’m not saying this to be like “I was right”.
I’m saying it because it’s important that people recalibrate their world view. They were duped completely and it’s important they understand that, otherwise it will happen again

Anyone who pretends Trump is in anyway superior on this kind of matter is also wrong. See pardons for Steve Bannon, Elliot Broidy (Republican fundraiser), Ken Kurson (for being Jared Kushners buddy), also Jared Kushner’s Father Charles, who he has now given a job.
