one positive note is if Liverpool get through to the F.A. semi- finals then the game at the k.c. on the 18th will have to be rearranged looking at the fixture list that means four off our last five games are at home, in our own hands so to speak.
That's probably gonna be The 5th or 12th of May now by the looks of it

Ah, I assumed he wouldn't feature anyway because of injury.

So not the same team except for Meyler, in other words.

This gives us the opportunity to bring back together the balanced midfield trio of Huddlestone, Livermore and Diame that worked pretty well earlier in the season, giving Diame licence to get forward and help out the strikers.

Win v Crystal Palace
Win v burnley

Plus One Draw or even a win from one the other games.

7 points - or 9 points to come.

Think we will stay up....but not bothered if we go down

Palace away should have been free travel to encourage as many as possible to go and roar City to victory

Idiot owner !

theres no reason to suggest Leicester and Villa can't realistically hope for 32/33 pts i think our GD is what will save us

our goal difference wont save us if other teams keep winning and we keep losing because theirs will be a lot better and ours will be worse

Tough call this one - what do we want? Logic says a 0-0 draw so only 2 points is awarded but the heart says cut QPR adrift hoping Saturday was a fluke. Any kind of momentum for them away from home would be worrying.

I've changed my mind on this now.

Villa also play Burnley at home (and West Ham who are pants now) so we need Villa to beat both QPR and Burnley.

Looking at their home fixtures I'm pretty sure Villa will stay up.

We could get one more point all season. Looking at the fixtures, and how we've consistently lost comparable games all season, it really isn't that unlikely.

I can see Sunderland not getting many more either. Leicester have a couple of nice home games so they coule close that gap a bit.

I reckon we will get a point at Palace and Tottenham and get a scrappy win against Burnley. Also, against Liverpool depending on whether Sterling and Coutinho are having their concentration befuddled by agent speak and preferably if they have got to the FA cup semis, it could give us a point or three.

Boyd George will really want to hurt me !!

It is written in the stars mate...Boyd to put us down.
