This is why I'm keen to push life memberships!

I renewed last week for 3 years but would have loved to have done a lifetime membership.
However at my age and medical history the cost of the lifetime membership does not make sense.

Any chance of showing an example to our owners and having a concession on lifetime memberships for those more senior amongst us.

What sort of price are you thinking? Currently the £40 life membership is based on 10 years paid membership, so the majority of people will save money on it, even if they're 60 when they take it up.

Personally I'm keen on a free membership option (with no voting rights or partner benefits) so people can show their formal support without soendisp any money. The question of course is whether we can do that without making a loss as a result if a lot of people 'downgrade' to a free membership.

I still think if the Idea is to grow the number of members,( which to mind it should be because that would send a much stronger message), then instead of people paying for three years, and especially £40 for a lifetime membership, just join yourself, family and friends for one year. Especially as we all expect the the Allams to do one after next season.

The last line, not everyone, i havn't made my mind up yet. I can see why you think they will go just not so sure myself.

Your'e a pessimist, which is understandable. We have to believe in something though bt.

I just hope this song is true. In any case it is an excuse to listen to those two greats Sam Cooke and Paul Foster.
