Don't all ex PL grounds have under soil heating?

We better hope it doesn't get cancelled. We already have a fixture pile up.

Even if they have under soil heating can they afford to have it on

For anyone who's interested, the team that didn't play today was as follows...

-----------Mannone
Rosenior Chester Hobbs Dawson
----Olofinjana McKenna
-----Mclean Koren Brady
------------Fryatt

Do you know what the bench was. Because King desperately needs games but i cant see him even on the bench. Surely it must have been GK, Cooper, Evans, Stewart, Dudgeon?

Unfortunately, I couldn't find out the bench, I tried to find out if Simpson was on it, but to no avail(I'd Guess it was Carson, Cooper, Evans, King and Stewart).

Heard that some City supporters who had travelled this morning have diverted off to the Wycombe V Tranmere game

Doesn't say much about Portsmouth then if a lower league side can keep their ground playable. If my memory serves me right didn't the same thing happen when we played them in the Prem

I think any team in the top two divisions who has a game cancelled due to a frozen pitch should simply forfeit the game.

Undersoil heating has been at all decent grounds for years, it should be a minimum requirement for any Premier League or Championship club(in fact, I think it is being implemented as a minimum requirement in the Premier League, both Pompey and Fulham were given formal warnings for cancelling games due to frozen pitches in 2009).

Still, I've just taken up an invite to a mates house warming party tonight instead, so it's not all bad. <ok>

Trouble with Pompey, they have been too busy buying players they can't afford, to worry about undersoil heating. Plus of course worrying about whether their next owner actually has any money

I've said it enough times but they piss me off with this. They blow their money on less players than every other team but on higher wages, and then complain when they haven't got enough players to fill a 7-man bench so we all have to change to 5.

This gives everyone a rest I suppose and a chance to come back fresh without actually missing a game.

Given the journey most of the Tiger Nation have to make, Portsmouth / the ref should have made this decision last night, it's not as if they don't have access to the Met Office forecasts. Hope the rescheduled game is a Saturday.

At least Van Persie has just got me 35 points for my fantasy team and watched Classic Albums - Paranoid on BBC 4.

UTT !

Trust me, there are a couple of players I'd happily swap for undersoil heating <ok>

P.S- We complained when the bench was dropped to 5. We wanted 7.
