They were very poor to be honest but had a couple of lively players. Liked Szmodicks (he found a lot of space always a threat) and Dembele (why did he not start. Their best player)
On the basis of that game can see them losing more than us.
Think all their chance stemmed from our mistakes mainly from the left. McFadzean is a liability
Bossed the first half but created little.
Second half should have addressed the midfield issues earlier Leadbitter ran out of steam made them look better than they are
Once we changed looked strong again. On the down side didn't really create enough
All in all happy enough with a point but a win was there for the taking

Thought we got the team selection wrong
today and that Johnson left his subs later than he should have.
Did we find out if Maguire is injured as he would have been one more attacking option to bring on from the bench?
Disappointed that having equalised and having seen that their keeper was struggling we didn’t put him under more pressure.
That said neither Wyke or Stewart won a header all game against Beevers.
All in all I was disappointed with our performance but pleased we’ve come out unscathed.
Need to get back to winning ways on Saturday and think we will.

Any keeper would be - especially after they have positioned themselves too wide to get back across to it. Maybe he misjudged the wind?

Ideally Geads should have put the ball a bit closer to the post and made sure the keeper couldn’t get to it. But he put it away and that's all that matters!

That was no more than a penalty kick to McGeady tbh.

For what its worth, a good performance and we made Peterborough look average for the majority of the game. Fisrt half we could have been behind through a few individual errors but we rode our luck well and went in level having dominated play but not having the best chances. Second half they started putting together some dangerous passages of play and we knew the goal was coming for them. They shaded the opening 20-25 minutes of the second half and it was deserved when they took the lead based upon that 20 minute performance. After we went behind we took 5 to settle back down then it was all us and a draw was never in doubt. Shame their keepers injury came so late on cos I think if we had another 5 minutes to put him under pressure we would have taken all three points.

Disappointed we didn't take all three points overall as they looked poor to be honest. Happy with the point after going behind though as it could have been worse. And was nice to see that we continued to fight hard for the point.

No need for the negativity on here after we went behind however. As I said earlier we are at the dawn of a new era for the club, lets not destroy the renewed confidence of the fans and players with unnecessary negative bullshit, get behind the lads and disect failings (if there are any) once the last ball of the season is kicked. Nothing good comes from over the top criticism of the club who are on a 14 game unbeaten run and are knocking on the door of automatic promotion.

A good point overall, we have held a free scoring. high flying club with the best home record in the division and made them look crap barring a 20 minute patch. Happy with that regardless of the what ifs.
To be honest, you could also turn that around for us. Posh made us work very, very hard today and by pressing quickly they stopped our normal free flowing passing game.

I am always disappointed when we don't win, but this is the first time I was worried we might not equalise so am very happy to come away with a point.

Peterborough were at home and were scared to have a go ...

... they don't worry me tbh.

That was no more than a penalty kick to McGeady tbh.
As Pym found out to his cost! I never expected Geads to float the ball into the box from there, especially with the wind behind him, so I think the keeper dropped a clanger if that is what he was expecting and if he was showing the open side to invite McGeady to shoot then he dropped an even bigger clanger!

Wasn’t a foul, macfad was soft. Should have just cleared it
When you see it from one of the angles, it looks a blatant foul. Also far worse than majority of the times their right back got a free kick! I thought it was first place too.

I didn't think conditions were conducive to good performances today. That horrible hard, bouncy, bobbly pitch meant that individual mistakes were always likely. Nonetheless, heads didn't go down after the goal, LJ got his subs right again, and we're still in a good position to go up automatically. Only positives as far as I can see.

Nah not for me, seen it on a fair few angles and he was looking for it, stand up and be strong, defend the attack don’t fall backwards into him and expect a whistle. Very weak from macfad
