I'd like to see him back in football, just not with us.

I agreed with a lot of what he said, but definitely not with the way that he said it. If he could get his ideas across to a side, without the crazy antics and banning ketchup and ice in drinks etc, then I still think he could possibly do well.
 
if lessons have been learnt he will come back stronger thats for sure ,many on here said he would not manage a prem side again,i believe he will as he has too much to offer for him not to,could be he goes to a club which has not been a holiday camp run by the players.
 
I don't see him as a lunatic tbh.

He loves football and should be involved, far more than the dreary likes of Mourinho & Wenger who seem to drag themselves to games.
 
He's a man with more passion & personality than half the league combined, and he did have a lot of good ideas, and he did, initially, inspire players.

If he can tone down his self importance without losing that god given ability to engage and impact on people, he could be a top, top gaffer.

Surely, if he can get it right, he will manage West Ham.

inspiring awe and fear can only get you so far, and in the end with us he couldn't leverage that with our lot.

I for one will be glad to see him back and hear his craic.
Just a pity he felt he had to come down so hard because of a couple of unproffessionals in our squad, whilst here.
Given more time and held on a tighter leash I can see him doing well in management.
 
I think Titus Bramble summed Paolo up best. Titus reckoned he was one of the best coaches he'd ever worked with but has an awful lot to learn man-management wise. That about says it for me.

Me neither mate, the players proved what he'd said about them was true after they'd got him sacked.

They had every chance to prove him wrong and almost took us down.
 
Mad as a bag of badgers but if he's gone back, calmed himself down, maybe done a man management course then he could be a cracking manager.

He had all of the right ideas about tactics, training, diets, taking power from complacent players, so on and so forth but the way he implemented these ideas was nothing short of idiotic.

Best of luck to him.

I may be well of the mark but I suspect all of the stories of insanity came from the players who were seriously letting the club down.
