I loved them when Sutch was still around. I voted for them in the late '80's as one of their cornerstone policies was that, if elected, they would launch an immediate investigation into why there was only one Monopolies Commission
Nothing wrong with that. You would think those who come to live here would want the skills to get by. That includes the language, understanding of the laws and culture and basic history. We've all been abroad and had the awquared conversation with the shop keeper. Why would you want that if you were here to stay?
Living in Spain, I know from experience that you make life more difficult for yourself by not bothering to learn at least how to get by in the language of the country you're living in.
Ultimately, it's your choice but you're just making your own life more complicated if you can't communicate.

Yeh most normal people would say that's a fair set of requirements for anyone looking to live in any country imo. But fact is the political numpties in charge would never have the balls to make this happen as so not to come across as racist lol

Partly true. Dont forget the indigenous population also chooses to move out. The door swings both ways as they say and I think both sides are guilty of the same thing - finding comfort among ppl they can relate to. White, black, jews, muslims, Greeks, Turks... we all do it. You look at what's happened in the East End of London for 300 yrs and it's amazing how waves of immigrants have shaped tge ethic minorities that have settled and then moved on from there. The French were considered the muslims of today hundreds of yrs ago. Then the jews arrived. Now its tye Bengalis.
Btw the places Klopp mentioned in London are predominantly sikh as well. Southall in particular is heavily sikh not muslim although there are muslims there. Those misconceptions dont help either.

Where I live, its predominantly Pakistani and Bangladeshi. The Bangladeshi are quite happy to integrate and be involved in the community, the Pakistani, not so much. This is changing though.

Dylann Roof was frequently pictured wearing sunglasses and a hat. The guy who shot up the cinema barman was playing in was wearing a hat.
I think the Sandy Hook shooter was wearing a cap too if I recall.
The Washington sniper and son had pictures wearing hat and sunglasses.
I haven't seen photos of the Paris killers but I'd be surprised if they were wearing a burkha.
Banning clothing has more to do with oppression than solving terrorism.
To be fair, those wearing sunglasses can take them off. They choose to wear them.

Hats and sun glasses only cover part of a face too, you can still make an ID from a partial face. You can't from no face.
