In case you're not aware of it Pardew has already acknowledged he head butted Meyler. You must be blind as well as stupid. Why are you even giving your opinions...no body is interested in them on here. **** off back to your own board.

He put his face in, i've acknowledged that already. But you'd know that if you'd bothered to read.
What is worse, a man running at another man double his age and pushing him or a man brushing the face of another man half his age with his cheek?
Neither are bad of course, but i'd rather take the so-called headbutt.
Massively over-hyped. The media seem to think that Meyler is lucky to be alive.

The bloke (Pardew) is an absolute embarrassment. Yet another altercation with a City player, after Ash in his Charlton days.
Managers and coaches should be setting examples, they get paid a lot of money to exhibit those standards, they are one of the public faces of our beautiful game. Whether he actually made contact or not, he has ONCE AGAIN brought shame to football. If you or I did that at our workplace I think you would soon be walking down the road, p45 in hand.

You obviously can't read and also don't have a clue what a headbutt is. I watched the interview and read the report. He apologised and admitted pushing his head towards him. He didn't apologise for headbutting him because he didn't headbutt him.
Massive restraint by Myler watching it again , he's about to launch a haymaker but thinks better of it.

"I didn't mean to do anything aggressive but I did move my head forward and that's enough. I wouldn't have got involved if I'd been on the other side of the line. Perhaps it will teach me to sit down.
"It's a shame because it took the gloss off a fantastic performance from us."
Ladbrokes quickly suspended betting on Pardew being the next Premier League manager to lose his job following the incident, while William Hill slashed their odds on his sacking after releasing a statement suggesting that the under-fire manager's five-year contract could be terminated for gross misconduct.

It's the intent of the head butt, not the force with which it was delivered. I think he'll get a lengthy ban, managers simply cannot do this. Meyler was only trying to retrieve the ball to get on with the game, Pardew was preventing him from doing that in the first instance.

Pardew has previous. He made himself look a right childish knobhead with no class today. Expect a lengthy ban. No less than he deserves. He is a manager ffs. If Brucey had done this the Newcastle fans would be (quite rightly) saying the same. Not sure the FA have had to deal with a case like this before? What a clown shoe.
I dont think Meyler did anything wrong , he was chasing after the ball and Pardew got in the way , i think Pardew held his arm out and Meyler will have instinctively reached towards it in his run
As for the headbut , its a 21st century headbut , nothing more .
It is the headbut that has only felled professional footballers and nobody else .
At least Meyler didnt roll around on the floor .

Meyler was very lucky to escape that unharmed. He should press charges and sue for sure. Head injuries can be easy to inflict and even a small knock can have fatal consequences, Pardew should and probably will be locked up for an unprovoked viscous assault caught by the TV cameras.
He could easily have broken Meylers jaw, and not only would that affect the lad himself, losing him would have a huge impact on our season.
