That was down to Debuchy handing the oppo a lifeline and our players failing to show a bit of game management. Pardew set the team up well and did well on Tuesday. Yesterday he was superb and got nearly everything right. He hasn't had his best season but overall his reign is a massive success. Clueless? Far from it. He's not perfect but our problem is we never give managers time.[/
Villa played 5 at the back first half which fell into our hands and we ruled the first half
Pardew issue was when villa changed in the second half he failed to get a grip on the game and change things
Meaning we got battered and were lucky to walk away with anything, two games we failed to turn up in the second half, continuity is the key but maybe in the summer if things don't go right then maybe a change is needed
As he can't use the injury card Anymore with the signings
You have to ask why Villa got a hold though. It was undoubtedly Debuchy who handed them impetus. He handed them belief and shook our own with an act of sheer stupidity. The other team is allowed to have their time in a game. They are allowed to get stuck in and rough you up. Sometimes a manager can do little to change things when players make errors. He can't tell them to not give the pen away, he can't make them stop losing theirs heads when clearing their lines. He was screaming for it, but they weren't showing the required knowledge of how to win games with comfort.
You can't just always lay at Pardews door. Its a team effort. Managers, players, fans. All three have done things to not help the team this season.
