    that sounds absolutely brilliant.

I loved the return to super mario when the wii and ds first came out but theres so many great old games like zelda etc that i loved in SNES times. love the time to play them.

I think you want to be thinking baout tablets hard.

I think honesty at this point we are getting to a synergy between good tablets and laptops and honestly a good laptop wins most every time.

eg... macbook air v ipad pro.. I mean what fool would buy a ipad pro there?

or... HP spectre 360.. thats really quality.

microsoft surface tab 4 its all but a laptop.

Now..... i have to say I would love a gaming PC more than a tablet myself.

Best game i ever played was oblivion... elder scrolls next gen game on PV and now you've the "massively online" elder scrolls.

Is this game you call best ever a vast world of endless quests and options with a main plot line too boot.....

Oblivion was great. you have literally hundreds of characters and 4 different guilds you could join and master then side quests and expansion packs for more.

    Yes, without question.
Have also played Morrowind, oblivion and Skyrim, loved them all.
    But W3 wins the prize

    morrowwind was excllent for sure.

What did you play witcher on then?

What did you do in oblivion. I'd the full set of guilds and bought all the houses round the full numbe rof cities but used the hovel at the docks i nthe main city to stash everything.

    bloody great game.

    no time for any now.

Pretty much everything, more or less, did all the guild side quests, got married in Skyrim, it was great
The main story in Skyrim wasn't great, the Oblivion one was better.
W3 though, have been following the story since W1 and am a big fan of Geralt of Rivia's adventures in book form.
W3 was a masterclass in gaming, an example of a breathtaking game, made on a modest budget, with better graphics, writing and voice acting than any AAA game that twats like Ubisoft or EA could release.
They can stick their Assassins Creed's and their Star Wars Battlefronts up their arses.

It depends on what you use them for, I've noticed that on my laptop I browse, shop, play the odd browser game and post on here. I have my laptop plugged into my Smart tv and would also use it for Films and playing all my Music.

I then considered my smart TV has Netflix I use Spotify on my phone so my laptop is hardly used. So I've purchased a Samsung Tab 4 7 inch which will sit on a stand next to my TV, HDMI cable for if I want it on large screen. I can do all the above on that and also just pick it up and be a lot more mobile. I have an Xbox for games.

If I was gaming or still watching films on it then I'd reconsider but a powerful machine is wasted on me.

    Yeah I get you.

So far I've not bought a smart TV due to cost. but now.. they are VERY affordable. I am thinking about it. amazon prime or netflix is still undecided and what to do with the whole thing.

I have to say a samsung tab 4 is very good value. Can i say one thing... that is the last one you can plug the hdmi into to get it connected to the TV. The phones and next tablets do not support the HDMI link.. so mind that tablet jealously it is absoutely worth its weight in gold.

Delete all the apps you don't use. When downloading apps check the permissions first, don't download if they have long permission lists. The more apps can do the more Crap they can do without you knowing that could add up to processing time.

Minimize use of apps that pull. Look for things that push. Minimize what apps produce notifications.

Stop looking at midget porn. Midget porn is known to slow Android devices. <whistle>

Backup old photos and Crap and then delete them from your device. The fuller your device the slower it will run.

My phone is now close to 2 years old and still running quick and smooth.

Good advice I will do, I don't like the wireless streaming it's just not reliable I want to plug it it and for it to work. It's a cracking tablet for the price, the Hudl 2 is better but getting expensive since they stopped making them.

I got my Smart TV for £250 40 inch as well. Great for plugging devices into and having Netflix on the remote control.

I'm pretty good and keep it all brushed up and tidy, I'm not having huge problems but I'm just worried that my new tablet will get the same way.

Got dragged into town today for a "final few" Christmas presents. Whilst there, I called into the Virgin shop. I can renew my phone now :D

I haven't renewed yet as I have no idea what phones are on offer. Not been looking as I didn't think I could renew until February

No, you can stop being a simpleton and buy a gaming PC!!
All the games look 100x better and are much cheaper.
    :p
A good gaming PC will set you back £800-£900 though.
    I paid £1,200 for mine :D

My next phone has to be waterproof. It's a pain having to keep mine in a waterproof baggie when kayaking.

I purchased mine for $400 2 years ago. Granted not top of the line but good enough. Took several months of planning. I checked Tiger Direct and New Egg everyday for their specials and only got the components when one I wanted went on an excellent deal.
