What? the one in the image? that says "stand only" and "electronics not included" <laugh> That's a mount for the wheel pedals and shifter or the flight stick. The wheel on the mount in the image is about £350, I am not THAT into driving games, the Ferrari wheel set was only £77 on Amazon.

I was looking at it on my phone so the writing wasn't readable.

If any of ye are big into space sim games, Elite Dangerous, used to play the original Elite on flopp disk, with the Oculus Rift is amazing.

Hacked my wii today, installed almost 800 games and apps on a 1tb usb drive, and Nes and sega emulators with all the classic oldies, my wii has been in a box for two years, new lease of life for it for the kids

Ordered these today

Boxing day all planned out

Sorry to be a part pooper - is that a thrustmaster? If so they are so bad, I had one and it's like driving a 3 wheeled car in the snow. I guess when you spend £77 on a wheel/pedal set you're not going to get anything that's at all realistic <laugh>

Seriously, if it hasn't arrived cancel it and spend that little bit extra.

You mad thing if you bothered to read, I'm not a car gamer. It's for a bit of crack and for the kid to play, flight stick is for me for ELite dangerous ;) am considering getting that HTC VR headset, Portal 2 demo looks unbelieveable on it<yikes>

As for thrustmaster, the TRS500 is a good wheel, 1080 degrees precision turning clutch acc and brake, shifter. But its £350 sterling, erm.. no thanks. I take it you play a "lot" of games then <laugh>

You must be thinking of this sort of thing, good luck with that <laugh>

Got a new PC at work yesterday. Full install including OS and individual programmes in just ten minutes :)

Tech question. Android get slower over time and is a bit annoying when it lags after you've had it for about 18 months, I prefer it to Apple because I like to be able to change things use my own launcer etc. Is there a way of preventing this deteriation? An app or something, someone mentioned you can root the device to manually clean it up?

My phone is about 18 months old and over the last month it's getting annoying, apparently any android 4.1 and above doesn't get affected like this. I've got myself a tab 4 for Christmas and I want to keep it running well.

I'm replacing my laptop with a tablet, my laptop is about 8 years old and runs really well still as I maintain it well, I don't want to have to replace my tablet every 2 years.

Mines 4.1.2 so that's bollox <laugh>

I've cleared the apps of that I don't use so much, transferred my pictures and videos, and I do a clean up most days. Seems to be working well enough as a result. Problem I have is I smashed the screen about a year ago and I keep getting damp in it.

Which is another problem.

It is. Especially considering how I like to use my phone whilst ****ting. Couple of days ago, I put my phone down (so I could wipe ;) ) not realising there was water on the edge of the bath (where I put my phone). My phone was playing up quite a bit yesterday but seems fine again today.

I can renew mine in February so I'm not too bothered now.
