I'm extremely addicted to Fallout 4...

    Bad times <yikes>

I'm level 19 and I've barely touched the surface!! Literally just got to Diamond City - which I believe is pretty much the start of the main quest?!

Plus I got Fallout 3 as a free download with it, so it looks like I'll be going through that again too...

Kind of, but not really - if that makes sense!!

It's a sandbox rpg shooter. It's basically whatever you want it to be, you can play it however you like. Hard to explain, other than it's probably the best game I've ever played - and trust me, I'm an old school hardcore gamer <ok>

The Fallout series is a classic.

It's the type of game that will suck the life out of you if you let it!!

It's so versatile you can play it however you like. If you want to craft and build villages you can, if you want full on FPS action you can, if you want stealth you can etc etc etc.

It's probably got about 500 hours of life in it. Or endless I guess if you keep building up settlements etc.

Have a look at the reviews on youtube <ok>

City in my FM team are like Chelsea of a few years ago. Signing every talented player under 24 so rest of teams can't sign them.

They signed lukaku, stones, Berahino, morata, can (who forced me to accept 35m transfer fee <grr>), lacazette.

Fallout 4 of course. Do all the modding that comes with that type of game.
Skyrim also looks brilliant on a pc.

Fallout, that looks good cheers. I think that's the sort of game I am looking for, any good strategy games as well.

FPS is dead for me though that star wars battlefront looks half decent, I'm a sucker for huge battles with a variety of death machines to choose from :D

That Eve Online looks very impressive, but you apparently need no life to get anywhere in it <laugh>

I don't want to give too many spoilers. But holy ****, I've been busy building settlements and just roaming around collecting bits and pieces. I've still only touched the surface as far as main missions go. I'm crafting good guns and armour and building my villages before I set off on another epic mission.

Level 29 currently and have a few nice settlements. One of them has a disco room with a mirror ball and various lights <laugh>. All powered by individual switches that I made. It's so much fun, crazy game.

One problem is I got 'Rise of the Tomb Raider' on cyber Monday - I loved the first remake they did, and this one is bigger and badder. They've added a crafting ability too, and a lot of extra content like expedition mode etc. I know you liked the first one too, this one is well worth getting <ok>

I had a go at Eve Online for a bit but you're spot on that you need to basically retire from real life to do anything. It is good fun, but after a few weeks of playing and really getting nowhere I gave up.

As for games, apart from the obvious choices (Fallout, GTAV, Witcher 3 etc) there are:
Rimworld - still in development and something like $30 to buy on their website but you can 'acquire' it in the usual places. I did that but then went and bought it. It's a colony management game where your people have to collect resources, fight off bandits etc. It's rather fun.

Grim Dawn - Got this in a recent sale on Steam and it's a good little cross between Diablo and Titan Quest, if you're into Hack n Slash RPGs

Rift - if you like MMO's. It's free to play and you don't really have to spend any real cash if you don't want

I'd also highly recommend Risk of Rain. I think I paid £5 for it and have over 100 hours played.

Basically just get on Steam and buy anything that's in a sale with Very Good / Overwhelmingly positive if the genre fits what you like. There's plenty there.

Fair shout man <ok> I def want GTA and Fallout. I'll have to look up some of the othe titles as I've never heard of them Games in my day were halflife quake and UT, with some Operation flashpoint later :D

I have a steam account for the ages almost, got a few games in there, last I bought was about 4 years ago.
Dead ****ing handy Steam is, no need for discs, just connect to the internought and download.

I'd love one of those... But only buy $10 year old+ games and most of them arnt racing games so can't justify spending megabucks on a good racing rig.

mate I've been the exact same for the last 8 years, but I'm ****ing tired <laugh> I am sick of making do due to apathy, I want a good up to date gaming rig for once. Was a compulsion, though I followed through on it like Tiger woods <laugh>

    No going back now <ok>
