Clubs don't conduct there own medicals when it's for transfers as they need impartial medical advice, as they are looking at an investment of huge sums.

That simple, all clubs that I've ever seen owt about do the medicals externally.
 
Sorry if this all sounds like a 'shaggy dog story'...but after further detective work my mate could only confirm that two of three client names booked in for medicals are definitely foreign names.....I know that gives sod all away like, but it's all I've been given.

I had a hernia op there on the national health! If anybody has a choice of where to have owt done, I would definitely have it done there!

Well I'm not an ITK person, and don't profess to be, however, this info came by pure chance after chatting to a mate I haven't heard from for donkeys years.

He, by chance, during conversation this morning, said that he'd heard this information through another medical colleague. They are both not into footy, so there was no reason for him to wind me up. He just mentioned he knew something about medicals relating to Sunderland Football Club after I said that I can't wait for the season to start. He thought I was a Boro supporter until I told him otherwise, it was then that he said he said he'd make a quick phone call to his colleague to confirm this info.

Well, I just hope these are players and not coaching staff etc.
