Chiesa been voted player of the month for September.

Voted by the fans and speaks volumes imo

Genuinely, can't recall a non-srarter winning this before either

Marmadashvilli (confirmed)
Bradley (unless slot wants the sack)
Konate
Vvd
Kerkez (likely)
Macallister (must start)
Szoboszlai (must be cm not rb)
Wirtz (likely)
Gakpo (must start)
Ekitike (must start)
Salah (shouldn't but will)

Jones and chiesa as the options.

Likely to see no width and brentford walking through us.unless we are agressive in our work

Brentford likely to play similar to United, long balls and win the knock downs and play from there plus focus on set pieces.

My point is why is he even mentioning Newcastle regardless as to why is he trying trying to have a dig at Newcastle. We are out of the picture as far as Isak is concerned. So what is the point or purpose of his comment.

Just makes him, and Liverpool by association, look petty. No need in my view.
No offense, but you're coming across as a bit precious.
Let it go my friend.

How do you know Slot meant Newcastle
I took it to mean the club that Isak went off to actually train with - not the team he didn’t train with
Newcastle didn’t cross my mind once ?

I didn’t really follow all of this tbf but it seems like you are on here to get a bite more than talk sensibly

I didn’t really want Isak, though I do feel we needed more than one striker

I'd still like to know where Slot said what you claimed - "when Slot says hes not fit after the boredom break" - that's just not true, he didn't say that at all. How could he go straight into the game against man utd and play 72 minutes if he wasn't fit?

As for Newcastle living rent free in his head <laugh> <laugh> <laugh> . He didn't actually even say Newcastle at all. He said players coming from smaller clubs need a different level of fitness. You could take that comment as a general comment which is true or you could take it as specifically about Isak and the club he's just left and it's still true.

I love the opening line of that article btw. "Slot suggesting Newcastle are a smaller club." Of course they are.

Just admit you're obsessed with Isak and his move here. You were on here, probably for the first time ever, when all the palaver was going on prior to his move. Most of us didn't want him anyway for various reasons which we told you at the time. I think it's time for you to move on mate.

Chaos has been his many times before it's just he changes his user name almost as often Donga

Just had a look on the Newcastle board as I've never looked at it before. They are obsessed with Isak. Absolutely obsessed. It's a bit sad really. I suppose when you're a smaller club and not used to losing your best players, it's a bit of an unwelcome novelty when it does happen and you simply can't get past it.

Didn’t come on initially at all for a bite as suggested. Genuinely wanted to know how Liverpool fans viewed the comments as in Newcastle there’s no doubts whatsoever as to what Slot was hinting at. Seems you don’t seem too concerned about the image Slot gives of your Club.

As far as Isak is concerned most of our fans now hate him. Not that he left, nor that he went to Liverpool but solely for me and most fans as to how he behaved and acted to ‘force’ the sale.

As far as Liverpool fans are concerned a lot seemed to get all agitated because TAA left on a free never mind forced a sale. Given that scenario some responses to me are more than a bit ironic. <laugh><sorry>

you think it's better for a club that a player leaves on a free than leave for a fee of £125m ?

I think we're just delighted with his honesty. :)

Isak forced a sale breaching his contract of employment in the process.
TAA saw out his contract of employment and to my knowledge didn't breach the terms thereof.
All players leave. I don't have any problem with that. It's how was the issue with Isak.
TAA did nothing wrong. He signed a contract for a set period and honoured it. Isak signed a contract and then forced a sale after breaching it's terms, specifically the length.
In my eyes that's the big difference between the two cases.
