Didn’t come on initially at all for a bite as suggested. Genuinely wanted to know how Liverpool fans viewed the comments as in Newcastle there’s no doubts whatsoever as to what Slot was hinting at. Seems you don’t seem too concerned about the image Slot gives of your Club.

As far as Isak is concerned most of our fans now hate him. Not that he left, nor that he went to Liverpool but solely for me and most fans as to how he behaved and acted to ‘force’ the sale.

As far as Liverpool fans are concerned a lot seemed to get all agitated because TAA left on a free never mind forced a sale. Given that scenario some responses to me are more than a bit ironic. <laugh><sorry>

To be honest I don’t think anyone would have even knows it was said until you mentioned it to be honest.

We’ve got used to Slot just saying things straight. Have to remember also not his first language, he’s often asked reporters if what he’s saying is right etc so I’d take it with a pinch of salt.

Isak forced a sale breaching his contract of employment in the process.
TAA saw out his contract of employment and to my knowledge didn't breach the terms thereof.
All players leave. I don't have any problem with that. It's how was the issue with Isak.
TAA did nothing wrong. He signed a contract for a set period and honoured it. Isak signed a contract and then forced a sale after breaching it's terms, specifically the length.
In my eyes that's the big difference between the two cases.
The biggest difference is we got over it really quickly, you haven't.

Isak wanted to leave so why try and force him to stay?
Trent ran his contract down deliberately because there's no way RM were going to pay proper dosh for him and they'd obviously let him know that that was the only way they'd take him - so the club he purports to love got almost nothing for him. Newkie got a King's ransom for Isak, so I really have no idea why you've seen your collective arse over this.
Anyway, none of this is really relevant to your original point about Slot's comments. The answer is football managers are just people, and they say things - sometimes they say things you don't agree with, sometimes they say things that are downright stupid - why let it get to you?

Put it this way.

I'd never sing isak's name.

But again.

Diaz gone. Wanted to go. Actually acted badly while there was a tragedy. Do we care or mention him? No.

Benedict Arnold? Not mentioned except by media trying to make out reasons why a side thst wont stand up and stand their ground lost 4 in a row.

Hooper is an invite to get aggressive.

If we are defending get in tight, pull drag hold. Push people. Don't let them get turned.

If I see players retreating off the ball and allowing people pick out long ball i will be angry

but if i see midfielders watching the ball sail over their heads then drop to their midfield without a challenge I will be furious..

Is there ever a situation where you aren't some shade of angry?

Marmadashvilli

Ekitike

No isak.

Morrison is on the bench after a bit of a show for u19s btw.

Knew it would be Salah, hopefully we play with the same intensity but suspect we'll be slower
