So why would they lie? Why don't the others "break their silence" Because what the Allams are saying is true, that's why!
I think you find that Nick has broke his silence !

Didn't see that Party !
What makes you think the Allams are lying? Maybe it was Nick that was? Got any evidence?
It seems to be who you trust about this and i've read all the comments. But who on here or any other board knows Nick or the Allams enough to say they're telling the truth or lying? Until you get to know a person you don't know whether to trust them or not, so how can anyone say they trust one party or the other in this?
The only thing you can do is wait until both sides have had their say and someone in the know on either side says which is true. We won't know on here unless we know either party personally.
Come on - bit of an over reaction. I was amongst the first to show my displeasure in this matter on this board but have concluded there is much more to this than meets the eye. Also Nicky has been naive IMO in dealing with the media, whilst I do believe the Allams have been disappointed with some of the results and performances under NB tenure.
The Allams like other high profile owners (like Mandaric at Sheff Wed) have bitten the bullet and decided to have a change of manager - it worked well at Hillsborough when everyone was criticising him for sacking Megson.
They have sunk £51m of their money into the Club and are in their own rights to do what they feel will be successful for the football club.
As for the players they will soon move on with the whole of the close season to reflect on things.. its a dog eat dog business after all.
Why on earth would Barmby appeal?
He has our best interests at heart, thanks the fans etc.... So how does the help our club? He loves our club i don't deny that, but i don't get what appealing really does.
Sorry Thatchers,i already read that. I was only pointing out that id made the same post as Party !Not absolutely everything he does has to be in the best interests of the club.
This is personal. He's feels the sacking is completely unjustified, and he'll want to win the case to clear his name and save dignity if nothing else.
Good on him.

Yes but i don't give two monkeys about that, i care about whats best for my club, and he's already said he doesn't want to manage anywhere else, so why should it matter?
Sorry for not wanting to support Barmby in his crusade against the Allams.
Ignoring all that has been said on this subject I have had time to reflect on what has gone on. It is my belief that the Hull city board didn't think Barmby was experienced , astute, and political enough to be in such a top job to achieve the Allams expectations for the future. They took the first opportunity, excuse or reason to push him out so that a more seasoned manager could be brought in. I just hope they know what they are doing and are getting good advice. (Megson, Dowie, Ince could be in their sights.)![]()

Be careful with the E word JD i just got hauled up by some Yokel on here for saying it, as if Egyptian is a racist term!
I presume 'the men that originate from Egypt' is also racist?
Oh, so you support the Allams in all this?
I'd have thought that if you loved the club so much you would love Barmby too and not simply tell him to **** off the second he leaves, regardless of circumstances, and in these particular circumstances I assure you that 99% of City fans will be behind Barmby and not some Egyptian tyrants.
