To all the people who lost faith.

This could still be our best Premier League season.
Imagine finishing in midtable and winning a cup final.

It is still possible and I would not be supprised.
Nevertheless, there are no easy games. We have to be afraid and respect all in the premier league.

I'd love to know what your excuse is for jumping in to this while you're at a party... If you're with good female friends... "Just... errrm texting the... ermmm wife"... With good male friends "Just ermm texting the... errrmmm mistress"...

    What's the problem?

The professional pessimists were on here, after the Villa match, taking the piss out of the optimists.

Does this ****ing thing only work one way and, if so, who's in charge of the agenda?

Smug, there's a difference between how one side was pushing their agenda, and how you've pushed yours tonight. You've not come off as light-hearted and overjoyed as I hope you intended this thread <ok>

Nothing wrong with good natured gloating... But your thread was asking for trouble, no offence.

I was taking to another true Sunderland supporter, after the match, and we were agreed on a few things, this wasn't just 3 points today.

We deprived Fulham of 3 points and demoralised them at home which could have a big effect on the supporters confidence in the team and the new manager.

It will also make the likes of Norwich, West Ham, Palace, Cardiff, Hull etc think "****ing Hell, we have to play them!"

The know all fans will have been saying, "Well yeah but Sunderland will be distracted by the League Cup."

It wasn't just 3 points lads, it was a line drawn in the ****ing sand!

    But I am <laugh>

I was asking for trouble from the people on 'the list' who would've been on here in seconds if we'd lost.

Like I said, **** THEM ALL!

If you're not on the list of people who take the piss when we lose then there's no problem is there?

    For what its worth CONGRATULATIONS!!

Totally deserved result and other teams around you will be seeing you as the form team now. The next two games were always going to be massive but win either of them and you'll probably be out of the bottom 3.

Onwards and upwards though please god don't win a cup.

If you love SAFC, and the true supporters, then you don't take the piss when we lose.

If you do then you can **** off and so can anyone who defends them.

The people who claim we're already relegated and ****e aren't 'in anything' with me mate.

Can you honestly say that, if we'd lost, none of 'us' would've come on here to say we're ****e and take the piss out of those who disagreed?

    Now, be honest ...................

This thread was always going to head downhill. It's sad that on our best night of the season so far (yes better than a semi-final win), we end up with in-fighting on here.

After the first half of the season (7 games lost out of the first 8), this could end up being our best season in years, finishing mid-table, a Wembley final and the best manager we've had since Reidy.

Let's just all enjoy the moment guy's.

Smug. It's time you ****ed off. If anyone disagrees with you or your opinions they are either stupid or unworthy of your oh so precious time.

If your life is so fantastic, why waste so much of it on here?

I have tried to be diplomatic and friendly oh so often with you, but you are, as ever, the bully.

This place would be better without you on it.
