Would love to know what this season's kit launches haslve done for the club in terms of finances.
I think I saw a breakdown of what we make per top, its not massive. I am amazed Man U and Liverpool dont make more per top sale

Crikey. That's sold out quicker than the home top hasn't it?
After the sales figures of the home top I'd like to think they upped the order for this one or at least get restocked quicker.Mine were cancelled at 8:02 but quite a few people on twitter saying theirs was cancelled at 8:01one minute!
Although selling out so quickly initially seems like unprepared/underestimating the demand or just being a bit ****e.
But I don't think it is when thinking about it. I don't think the club or Hummel have underestimated the demand or what they could sell.
This deal has only recently been finalised in that time they have designed 3 shirts, we have seen two so far and they are completely bespoke and meaningful to our city not just a stock kit or even a bespoke kit that means **** all they just chuck some colours and patterns on a shirt (see liverpoold this year!). We haven't seen the third but rumours are it's the best of the lot and that's some high bar as the other two are outstanding, I can only imagine that has took a lot of time and effort to get to that point backwards and forwards between the club and hummel!
When they have finally reached the point of the designs finalised and starting making the shirt the window to get them made must have been limited and I am going to assume they can't pump put gear on the scale of Nike or Addidas etc... and we won't be the only kit they have to get made.
So I doubt it's a case of not understanding the demand but more a case of they probably couldn't make shirts to those numbers in the time frame they had.
Judge them on next season, they should have time to get the designs finished early and start manufacturing the kits early.
The online stock is understandably frustrating but wouldn’t be shocked if it’s to stop people getting on a buying batches to sell at inflated prices, see it with trainers etc all the timeI'd be very, very surprised if they haven't made sure they sold out on the first day.
People are talking about Sunderland, and they're doing so positively. That's a huge shift from last season.
I find it inconceivable that the club haven't orchestrated that.
For me, they ought to be applauded.
"Home shirt sales have now exceeded the total number sold throughout the entirety of last season"
