I wonder how much of the online market is local people not wanting to stand in a queue (or can’t get there) and how much is the market created by STID, which is why the online sales get sold out so quickly. You can sell a thing and give a longer lead time or the right to cancel if demand is high. It’s Absolutely frightening how we didn’t capitalise on STID exposure sooner (and I know there was a contract in place which, if the analysis was done, could have seen it bought out to capitalise on) when we were even in more need of revenue and flogging the academy stars off.

Dunno if it's just me but just received an email regarding the away strip I bought for the grandson today. Shirt, shorts and socks and only the socks have been shipped whilst the others are still being processed. I gather that Hummel will probably not have ever faced this type of focus from fans but surely if everything was ordered together surely the whole order would be processed at the same time. Still waiting for the home shorts from ordering last week, received the socks today

If they have enough stock yes, but I imagine the demand was unquantifiable until the home strip came out and then too late to increase production of the away strip and they’re also having to up the home strip production too. Best for them to take orders and either refund or prioritise these ones before they put the sold out signs up online. Chances are the ones that they didn’t have stock are planned production and you’ll get ahead of a new release.

Was in the new club shop for the first time today. Very impressive. Some of the Hummel gear really is top notch.

It's almost as if they've set out to take away all of the toys that people like to throw out of their prams, one by one <laugh>

Almost as if the club have a plan and know what they're doing ...

... what's happening now will put the club in a good place for years to come.

Whatever happens on the playing side we'll always have the foundations to sustain us. To be fair to Donald and Methven, which is rare for me, they inherited an absolute shambles of a club. Through their ineptitude they made it worse and we were blessed to be bought by someone who can take the flak, keep a clear head and methodically resolve one issue after another.

The KLD out brigade should give their heads a massive shake.

KLD out is pointless. He owns the club. Reading Bob Murray’s book and the flak he took I’m glad that he loved the club so dearly that he kept us going and delivered the SoL, AoL and BoL. KLD has a thick skin by the looks of things and is slowly improving things but it’s not just the easy fixes like a bit paint here a new pitch there it the continuous search for excellence is where we need to be at and will (when the time comes) KLD be able to sort some of the big decisions like is Speakman the right DoF….

You've hit the nail on the head there in my opinion.

There's such a lot going on at the club that it would be the wrong time to ditch Speakman.

If every clubs equivalent was sacked, after a poor managerial choice or failure to always make the right signings, Chelsea, Man Utd, Everton, Spurs, etc would have a change every season. From a purely financial basis, and SAFC are a business after all, Speakman has more than covered his salary. In fact he did that by selling Stewart to Southampton not to mention future sales. He's also been involved in extending the contracts of players who might have left to increase their wages.

Yes I know we need a CF, everyone does including him ...

... but the days of bringing in expensive wasters, like Flo, Laslands, Grigg, Graham, etc, just to fill a shirt are done imo.

When players agree to sign for a club like Hull, then dump them for a few dollars more, they're not what I want here tbh.

Just been invited to buy this by Palace, one of the many clubs I've created a 'history' with ....

... it looks more like a knock off than you'd find in an Algerian tourist market <laugh>
