Wonder what is changing at that part of the stadium to necessitate this....
I am sure it was mentioned at the last RAWA meeting that they were opening a retail kiosk in the East Stand. They may be building a goods/staff entrance where panel 8 is
Not sure myself but as the ticket office is being changed into the club shop it may be that the ticket office is moving to the east stand.
There is no basis in fact for this speculation, its purely speculation

Having reflected on yesterdays game and indeed the last few months of the season, I write this as a fan & nothing more.
Over the last decade we have lost our identity as a club, where is our pride, our arrogance about who we are, what coming from Sunderland & wearing the famous red & white stripes means to us? The Stadium of Light should be somewhere that we as fans are excited to come, somewhere we spend the whole week dreaming about, somewhere that fills us with pride, makes the hair on the back of our neck stand on end, makes us feel 10ft tall. It should equally be somewhere that puts the fear of god into opposing fans & players. It should be the last place they want to come, somewhere they write off when the fixture list is released each year.
When was the last time any of us felt this way & more importantly how do we reclaim that identity and pride?
What we have in Sunderland is unique, don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. There are 91 other football league clubs but not one of them has our greatest attribute, our fans. We are a club steeped in the history of our City, bred and fed by the Monkwearmouth Colliery & the banks of the River Wear upon which we’re built. Our industrial heritage, our stubbornness, our community, put simply, we’re built different.
The need to own & celebrate our identity is on all of us. It’s on the clubs owners and board to recognise & exemplify, it’s on the players to demonstrate every single time they walk out on the pitch, regardless of what’s to play for, it’s on the manager to understand & deliver upon and it’s on us, the fans, in the way we show our support.
On Saturday when the current crop of players lucky enough to wear our badge, ran out onto a pitch that any fan would give their right arm to grace, wearing white shorts, to the Z Cars, we were reminded of our greatest ever, Charlie Hurley. The King exemplifies that identity we’ve lost and must reclaim, we all need to find the Charlie Hurley within us, owners, players, manager & fans, one club, one identity, one goal and a **** load of pride!

That's Leo banned, lol I told KS what I thought about him and what he has done, and then had my guest card took off me.
I doubt KS has the authority to ban directors
He is absolutely correct and as a fan is probably angry at how the season has played out. He hasn’t pointed fingers at anyone, from the owners down to the fans we all have a part to play.
If the owners have any problem with what he has said they need to take another look at what football means to people in this part of the world.

KS has that power and he likes to be seen doing it, the security team hang on his every word when KLD is not here. Steve D backed him as I was seen as causing a scene.
I'm the 4th guest to have it removed in the last 5 home games, mine was 4 weeks ago.
He meant Pearlman can’t be banned by KS, not you.
If a guest had been invited to my work and continually criticised me, I'd have him booted out too. Of all the things rightly aimed at KS, I don't think he's the one in the wrong here.

Whether that's true or not, Speakman is by no means the one in the wrong in that situation.
I've liked that post but don't agree with everything he's saying.
The atmosphere and pride still exists with the away following imo.
The home supporters have to take their share of blame, even when we're doing well it can be a bit flat.
Owners, managers, coaches and players come and go ...
... it's up to us to create an atmosphere, not just respond to what's happening on the pitch.
We were usually pretty poor at Roker Park but the crowd was almost always up for it.
Depends on the nature of the criticism. If it's abuse then KS is absolutely in the right, if it's asking difficult questions then he should be big enough to deal with that as a supposed professional.
From Bobs comments and history of posting about KS, it was almost certainly abuse.
"I told KS what I thought of him" does not come across as asking difficult questions.
There was one bit that I interpreted as a little bit of a barb. But that could be wishful thinking on my part.
