But Davison renewed it with the kit supplier for another few years until someone (KLD I assume) stepped in and binned it off.
As I said not making excuses for anyone, but the incompetence of selling out at a kit launch is just unfathomable to me Ollie. I suppose I am just trying to get my head around how far we have regressed in our commercial business. In the not too distant past the kit launch days used to be massive and a great source of revenue for the club.
Its amateur stuff away from the football operations isn't it. Shambles for a club of this size all in all.
I went down for a shirt about 10.45. The queue was massive and I didn't fancy waiting so I went back to the car and thought I'd order it off my phone. Got on to the site and there was only 3xl left. Stock running out in 40 odd minutes is ludicrous. Imagine there'll be a fair share of upset bairns today.
There are a fair few upset adults, too I deliberately didn't tell my grandkids about them becoming available 'cos I expected this and I didn't want to build up their hopes ! It really is a massive revenue opportunity wasted, and extremely annoying/upsetting for 10s of thousands
Well I was in the club shop at about 12-15 and there was plenty of stock. Can’t defend Davison at all but the stock was there.
Yeah that’s correct, just before the shop opened a steward came round the queue saying under 5s, adult XL and XXL were not available. Other stock seemed to be OK.
I'm in there now (after walking straight in) and there are plenty, including xl & xxl as mentioned above. I'm in the (snakey) queue to pay . . . . I've got 2 adult shirts (L & XL) and a bairns 9-10 ( all home shirts) p.s. I don't even know how much they are
I didn't have my card, but they gave me the discount after I logged into my account for proof of having one
Don't like it me. Sign looks naff and all the historical memorabilia has went. Looks to be like a revamp of a social club.
