    What a beauty.

Apparently they don't have stiched on badges because players complain they're too heavy. It would be cheaper to actually have stitched badges too.

    According to Steven Aziz

Crazy how everyone on here loves it but over the road, they don’t. I think some people wouldn’t be happy with anything Sunderland do at the minute.

It's good to see the club pushing the positive stuff now now so we're not going into the summer with the negativity and fume we had surrounding us a few weeks ago.

Hopefully a new manager announced soon after the season ends, a tweak in transfer policy (hopefully) and we can really push on next year

Surely Nike won't be happy with this? Unless prior agreement but I can't see them agreeing to us wearing another manufacturers gear while they're still officially our kit/merchandise manufacturer...

Or are we wearing a Hummel strip today as well and we've ****ed Nike off :1980_boogie_down:

Christ, I knew some of our players could do with beefing up a bit but it's worse than I thought.

The kit deal and training kit deals are not one and the same mate.

Aye mad innit. Not sure if it's a general consensus across all football as I don't follow what badge is on other clubs strips.

If it is the club should probably communicate it better so people actually know the reason which would stop the people who say they're doing it on the cheap

Na they seperate entities, this is why when you see big clubs warming up many have different sponsors. I recall Uniteds training kit deal was bigger than about 15 PL clubs main kit deal few year back, mental.

Also, the deal isn’t actually with Nike to start with. It’s a 3rd party agreement.

In fairness I think those training tops are pretty rank and I'm probably what you'd consider a happy clapper over here. Like most the hummel stuff and really excited to see the strips, just not this particular item.

The big ugly purple triangles on the torso kill it for me. I'm too young to be nostalgic about this one, that might play into it.

That might be it. Hummel brings back great memories for me. Beating the mags in the playoffs, 92 cup final and the like

Got myself a pair of Hummel trainers off Amazon for £25 in the sale.

Used to wear them about 8 year ago and everyone took the piss.

I would prefer a red, white and black version. Not a fan of the blue and purple.

To be fair, a lot of their trainers are dog ****. They've only got a couple of styles that look good and one of them has been discontinued. You can pull them off if you've got style though :emoticon-0105-wink:
